| Community governance has a fundamental position and role in the entire national governance system.In the "Opinions on Strengthening and Improving Urban and Rural Community Governance" jointly issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council in 2017,improving residents’ sense of community identity,belonging,sense of responsibility and honor is the goal of community governance.In recent years,festival activities,as an important part of cultural activities in various regions,have gradually received the attention of local governments.From the perspective of community governance,festival activities are a way for local residents to find their identity with the place,and have social management functions such as maintaining local spirit and cohesive ethnic identity.Enhancing the sense of belonging in the community through festival activities is of great significance to improving the level of community governance.Based on this,this study explores the formation path and influencing factors of residents’ sense of community belonging in the context of specific festival activities,and provides a new way for government departments to understand residents’ sense of community belonging.The study took the "35th Lucheng Culture and Art Festival" in Baotou City as a case,and sorted out relevant literature on community governance,festival perception,community participation,and community belonging at home and abroad.Based on social cognition theory,a theoretical model consisting of festival perception,community participation and community belonging variables is constructed,and research hypotheses are put forward in combination with social exchange theory and attribution theory.Data collection was performed around the location of the "35th Lucheng Culture and Art Festival" in Baotou City,and descriptive analysis,reliability and validity analysis,and confirmatory factor analysis were performed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 24.0 software.Finally,a structural equation model was constructed and the relationship between the three variables was explored.The research results show that the festival perception has a positive correlation with the influence of community participation;the influence of community participation on the community’s sense of belonging is positive;the festival perception has a positive influence on the community’s sense of belonging;the influence of community participation in the festival’s perception on the community’s sense of belonging Play an intermediary role in the process.Accordingly,from strengthening festival propaganda to enhance residents’ awareness of festivals;festivals are close to life and stimulating residents’ enthusiasm for participating in festivals;improving infrastructure and optimizing the environment for residents to participate in festivals;improving regulations and systems to ensure festivals are held Provide employment support and enhance residents’ sense of community identity in five aspects to provide local governments with feasible suggestions for strengthening the sense of community belonging. |
