| "The Kindergarten Education Guidance Program(for Trial Implementation)" indicates that,kindergartens should take full advantage of social resources,and guide the children to actually experience China’s rich and excellent culture as well as feel the changes and development of the hometown.As an important carrier of ethnic culture,folk handcraft has multiple values in education,practicality and aesthetics,so that it is the responsibility of kindergarten education to develop and apply it in kindergartens.In this way,there are many benefits to the child development.However,the development and utilization of local excellent folk resources by local kindergartens are not optimistic in the minority areas in southwest Guizhou,which has rich ethnic and folk culture.With the method of action research,this research conducts in-depth investigations and takes actions in the frontline of kindergartens.The research selects Z Kindergarten,a town center kindergarten in Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwest Guizhou,as the research site.Through questionnaires,interviews and field investigations and other methods,the application status of folk tie-dyeing crafts in Z Kindergarten is investigated and surveyed.After analysis,we conclude that there are mainly three problems in the development and utilization of tie-dyeing crafts in Z Kindergarten,including "teachers’ insufficient mastery of tie-dyeing techniques","children’s lack of experience in exploring tie-dyeing crafts" and "lack of tie-dyeing operating materials".According to the existing problems,the action plan is designed and implemented for the purpose of improving the current situation.With"enriching children’s exploration experience towards tie-dyeing crafts" as the main line,and "improving teachers’ skills" and "improving the material supply" as the auxiliary line,this action takes class 3 in Z Kindergarten as the research object,and conducts a three-month action research.In the direction of initial action research plan,three rounds of action implementation have been gone through,including "first knowledge of tie-dyeing","expansion and exploration" and "independent creation".By carrying out specialized folk tie-dyeing art teaching activities supplemented by daily infiltration activities,in the process,we listen to the suggestions of other teachers,reflect on the effect,and adjust the next action plan until the current situation is improved.Through this action research,we find that,if we apply the tie-dyeing crafts to the kindergarten art education activities,it can promote the development of children’s aesthetic perception abilities and creative abilities.Secondly,it can improve teachers’ tie-dyeing craft skill levels and tie-dyeing art activity organization abilities,as well as enhance teachers’ awareness of teaching reflection and self-awareness of developing local cultural resources.Finally,it can enrich the kindergarten folk art curriculum and provide an opportunity for other folk crafts to be applied in thekindergarten art education.In addition,by summing up the problems in the research,corresponding improvement suggestions are put forward from the perspective of the kindergarten and the teachers respectively,in the hope of providing reference for the follow-up research. |
