FDI Technology Spillover Effect,human Capital And Economic Growth Of Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration

The development of urban agglomerations is one important way to realize the economic growth.The Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,as one of the most powerful urban agglomerations,includes Shanghai,Zhejiang,Jiangsu and Anhui,with27 cities as the central region.Its economic growth mode has a great demonstration effect.The theoretical basis of this paper is the new economic growth theory,and the research scope is the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,basing on the panel data of 27 cities in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration from 2008 to 2018.Based on the endogenous technology growth model of increasing product variety,it analyzes the impact of FDI technology spillover effect towards economic development,and includes the role of human capital.At the same time,it also combs the process of the Yangtze River Delta regional integration,and divides 27 central cities into Jiangsu Zhejiang Shanghai region and Anhui region,and analyzes the regional economic growth and foreign direct investment,especially for Anhui province,which is located inland and relatively backward in economy.The results show that the technology spillover effect has no obvious positive effect on the economic growth of the Yangtze River Delta region as a whole and Jiangsu Zhejiang Shanghai region,but it can have a good joint effect with the human capital of all stages except the general higher education,meanwhile,it shows that grouping enhances the model fitting.On the contrary,the spillover effect has a positive effect on the economic growth of Anhui,but it has no positive joint effect with the human capital of each stage.Basing on the research,this paper puts forward suggestions,hoping to provide suggestions to help improve the level of foreign investment in the Yangtze River Delta and realize the vision of regional integration and co construction.
