| Since the concept of corporate social capital was put forward at the beginning of this century,it has been receiving attention as a "medium level" research object;at the same time, how to deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises as my country’s economic reform continues to move toward a "deep water zone" To get rid of the rigidity and inefficiency of the state-owned enterprise system has gradually become the focus and difficulty in the reform of the economic system.Under this theoretical and practical background, this article develops the concept of state-owned enterprise social capital on the basis of dialogue with the existing literature, and tries to analyze its influencing factors, which broadens the research approach of social capital to a certain extent. At the same time, this article provides certain theoretical and empirical guidance for the transformation and deepening of reforms of state-owned enterprises at the practical level.First of all,as far as the inner meaning is concerned, the social capital of state-owned enterprises is a grand "capital field",which refers to the ability of enterprises to access scarce resources embedded in the internal and external network of state-owned enterprises. This ability is to promote enterprises. One of the indispensable elements to achieve sustainable development is cumulative and non-reproducible.This research believes that the social capital of state-owned enterprises is an organic whole generated by state-owned enterprises’ long-term participation in internal and external social interactions, including their innate institutional social capital, relational social capital built on trust and identity. On the basis of structural social capital.State-owned enterprise social capital of different dimensions realizes accumulation and reproduction in the interaction, and then establishes and consolidates advantages for enterprise development. In addition, this research explores the influencing factors of state-owned enterprise social capital through empirical data analysis.First, the rich institutional social capital of state-owned enterprises is generated by the strong connection between the enterprise and the government. The “strong government-enterprise connection” gives state-owned enterprises a first-end capital advantage;secondly, the welfare practices of state-owned enterprises affect the relationship between enterprises. The accumulation of social capital has a significant effect. At the same time, the internal distribution system and salary system of the enterprise,as institutional and motivating factors, can significantly increase the enthusiasm of the employees in the production activities, thus causing the state-owned enterprise’s relational social capital to have an "integration effect.";Finally, corporate structural social capital based on trust and recognition is generated in the process of corporate welfare practices and social responsibility.State-owned enterprises are actively involved in the construction of public space and the construction of community infrastructure.Highly integrated with urban development, this urban-enterprise integration model of "one city, one enterprise" has significantly enhanced the organizational "stickiness" of state-owned enterprises to their employees, and thus the enterprise’s own structural social capital has been continuously accumulated and developed. Finally, this article re-examined the relationship between the social capital of state-owned enterprises and the development of state-owned enterprises from the perspective of social cost theory.Although empirical data show that corporate welfare practices can promote the generation and accumulation of social capital of state-owned enterprises,it will put a heavy "cost burden" on enterprises, and even make state-owned enterprises fall into the dilemma of "growth but no development".This endogenous contradiction makes "total separation of the social functions of state-owned enterprises" become both a realistic requirement and a rational choice. At the same time,state-owned enterprises need to actively assume social responsibilities while realizing the separation of the functions of "business running society",continuously optimizing the internal organizational structure of the enterprise, building a fair and reasonable salary system and distribution system, and building a corporate culture that reflects the inherent spiritual temperament of the enterprise.Reshape the collective identity of the enterprise.Only by continuously optimizing and integrating such production factors can state-owned enterprises make their social capital play a role in continuous accumulation and reproduction, and then play an escort role for the stable development of the national economy. |
