The Effect Of Vocational Skill Training On The Income Level Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

With the continuous development of our country’s market economic system reform and urbanization,the new generation of migrant workers is increasing in number and has gradually become an important force in socialist modernization.The data shows that the new generation of migrant workers has stronger learning ability and more urgent learning needs than the older generation of migrant workers..Affected by the epidemic situation at home and abroad,our country’s economic and social development is currently uncertain.Organization of vocational skills training is an inevitable choice to stabilize employment and increase income.Facing new economic development requirements and increasing employment pressure under the impact of the epidemic,vocational skills training still have gaps with the needs of the new generation of migrant workers.Studying the income-increasing effect of vocational skills training for the new generation of migrant workers,analyzing the current situation and shortcomings of the training work,and giving some suggestions for improvement can help improve the vocational skills training system.At the same time,it is of great significance for employment,rural revitalization and poverty alleviation.Can vocational skills training effectively promote the income of the new generation of migrant workers? What are the current factors that limit the effectiveness of vocational skills training? And where should we make breakthroughs and improvements? The study investigated the vocational skills training in Hubei Province.Based on questionnaire data,it conducts propensity score matching analysis and Focus on the inspection of matching quality to analyze the impact of vocational skills training on the income level of migrant workers.Finally,it provides a theoretical basis for the government to improve the vocational skill training system of the new generation of migrant workers.Empirical results show that the vocational skills training can improve the monthly income of the new generation of migrant workers by 7.96%.In order to provide support for amplifying the income-increasing effects of training,the paper discusses the organization and guidance of the new generation of migrant workers’ vocational skills training based on the empirical analysis and questionnaire survey data.The result shows that there are problems such as irregular implementation,unbalanced supply and demand,poor pertinence and inadequate guidance.Finally,based on the results of empirical analysis and further discussion,the paper puts forward four suggestions on how to amplify the income-increasing effect of vocational skills training,including clarifying responsibilities,strengthening management,improving quality and efficiency and strengthening publicity.
