| As an important way to promote teachers’ professional development,teachers’ reading has always been concerned and valued.However,there are some problems in teachers’ professional reading,such as unclear reading purpose,low reading volume,lack of reading support mechanism and so on.In recent years,social reading has been more and more promoted to reading practice because it can help to form a reading community with sharing and interaction as the core,promote knowledge construction,group collaboration and problem solving.In view of the existing problems in teachers’ professional reading,this study introduces social reading into teachers’ professional reading,and applies it to specific teachers’ professional reading practice.The main work of this paper is reflected in the following three aspects:Firstly,this paper systematically reviews the current situation of teachers’ reading research,investigates the situation of teachers’ reading and professional development,analyzes the existing problems and their causes,and probes into the improvement path from the aspects of reading task orientation,reading organization form,reading support,etc.Secondly,based on the existing reading model,it highlights the characteristics of task orientation,improves the process of task design and implementation,constructs a task-oriented teachers’ social reading model,designs related scaffolding and tools,and then develops the corresponding application mode.Finally,the task-oriented social reading is applied to the professional reading practice of the information technology teaching and research group of high schools in Minhang District,Shanghai.The relevant support and intervention are given in the implementation process of the case,and the process of reading activities is tracked and analyzed to preliminarily evaluate its application effect.The research shows that task-oriented teachers’ social reading improves the level of teachers’ collaboration,enhances the communication and interaction between teachers,and improves teachers’ enthusiasm for group collaboration in professional reading,which is widely recognized by participating teachers and experts.The research of this paper expands the application field of social reading,explores the ways of reading to promote teachers’ professional development,and the corresponding practice cases can also become the demonstration of reading to promote teachers’ professional development. |
