With the restructuring of industry,the higher education which develops talents under the national planing system falls behind the development of social industry.In order to prevent higher universities from competing for the same goal and avoid convergence.the country began to pay attention to the development of higher education diversification.The 985 and 211 universities are invested by the state,while the local application-oriented universities participate in the market competition,which brings great challenges to the local universities.On the one hand,after the transformation and upgrading,the connotation construction foundation of local undergraduate colleges is weak,which is easy to be eliminated in the competition of colleges and universities,forcing local undergraduate colleges and universities to transform into application-oriented development,and find their own orientation and talent cultivation mode.On the other hand,in the stage of education popularization,the expansion of colleges and universities has not reached a dynamic balance between "their own mission" and "social needs",resulting in the phenomenon that the quality of talent training is out of touch with the actual needs of society.In the process of transformation and development,the local undergraduate universities are caught in the dilemma of internal and external interweaving.Based on the background of transformation and development,this paper holds that strengthening the management of practical teaching is one of the methods to break through the development dilemma of local application-oriented universities,and it is also the only way for universities to run a school,survive and develop.Talent training is a return to the essence of education,and also a problem to be solved in the development of Application-oriented Undergraduate Colleges and universities.S College is located in the mountainous area of Northern Fujian Province,and its economic development is relatively backward.To study the practical teaching management of S College is to take a deep analysis of the historical roots and actual situation of the transformation and development of this Local Application-oriented Undergraduate College as the starting point,adopt the questionnaire survey method and interview method,and analyze the Local Application-oriented Undergraduate College through the in-depth investigation of the current situation of the practical teaching management of the school There are some problems in the management of practical teaching in the transformation and development of the University.These problems are mainly manifested in the top-level design,the school running orientation and application-oriented personnel training objectives are not coordinated;in the specific teaching management,the proportion of practical courses is small,the training program and professional settings are not grounded;in the equipment management,the conditions of practical teaching facilities in the school are relatively backward,and the management of practical teaching bases outside the school is just a formality;in the teacher management,the Dual Teacher Management In terms of teaching quality management,the evaluation mechanism of practical teaching is single,and the feedback system of teaching quality is not clear.In view of the above problems,based on the perspective of public management theory,this paper attempts to propose that in order to strengthen the practical teaching management,we should first innovate the management concept,create the "application-oriented" characteristic brand of colleges and universities,optimize the talent training program,and strengthen the practical teaching management;secondly,we should expand the second classroom,deepen the cooperation of production,teaching and research to strengthen the platform management of practical teaching resources;and At the same time,we should improve the quality monitoring and evaluation mechanism by the way of multi participation.Through the above measures to strengthen the Application-oriented Undergraduate Colleges in the context of transformation and development of practical teaching management ability.
