| Vocational decision-making self-efficacy of secondary vocational students refers to their evaluation or confidence in completing various tasks smoothly and effectively in the process of career decision-making,which affects the scope of individual career exploration,identity,attitude and job performance prediction In this study,1237 students from Fujian Business School were randomly selected as subjects.Firstly,Peng Yongxin’s Vocational Decision Self-efficacy Scale for College Students was revised.Secondly,the revised Vocational School Students’ Vocational Decision Self-efficacy Scale,Chinese version of Simple Parental Rearing Style Questionnaire(s-EMBU-C)and Attributional Style Questionnaire were used as research workers.In order to provide suggestions for schools to improve vocational students’ career decision-making self-efficacy,this paper investigates the current situation and the relationship among parenting style,attribution style and career decision-making self-efficacy.The results show that:Firstly,the revised Vocational Decision-Making Self-efficacy Scale has a reasonable structure,which includes five dimensions: goal selection,planning,self-evaluation,problem solving and information collection.It has 24 questions,and has good reliability and validitySecondly,the vocational decision-making self-efficacy of secondary vocational school students generally belongs to middle to high level,and boys are higher than girls.The overall attribution style tends to be positive attribution,the positive event attribution tends to be positive attribution,and the negative event attribution tends to be negative attribution.Thirdly,there are significant differences in some demographic factors,such as gender,grade,only child,place of origin,growth environment,educational level of parents,among parental rearing style,attribution style and career decision-making self-efficacyFourthly,career decision-making self-efficacy and its factors are positively correlated with emotional warmth.Fifth,career decision-making self-efficacy and its dimensions are positively correlated with overall attribution style,negatively correlated with negative event attribution and positively correlated with positive event attributionSixth,attribution style plays a mediating role in the influence of parenting style on Vocational students’ career decision-making self-efficacy... |
