Study On Impact Of Entrepreneurship Education In Universities On Industrial Upgrading In Jiangxi Province

With the advent of the current era of knowledge economy and technological revolution in the world,the economic development and industrial upgrading of various countries and regions depend to a large extent on the coordinated development of technological innovation and human resources.Entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities with the goal of cultivating high-quality innovative talents has become an important driving force to promote industrial upgrading and high-quality economic development,and there is a close relationship between them.Facing the increasingly fierce international competition situation,the implementation of my country’s "innovation-driven development" strategy is imminent.Various regions continue to strengthen and improve the entrepreneurial education system and the cultivation of innovative talents to promote industrial optimization and upgrading and the realization of high-quality economic development goals.Therefore,a systematic and comprehensive study of the dynamic impact of regional colleges and universities entrepreneurship education on industrial upgrading is conducive to promoting faster and better social and economic development.This paper takes Jiangxi Province as an example.Based on the domestic and foreign related theories and literature research,combined with the actual situation of Jiangxi Province,this paper studies the impact of entrepreneurial education in Jiangxi Province’s colleges and universities on industrial upgrading through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.This paper firstly analyzes and summarizes the concepts of entrepreneurship education and industrial upgrading and existing research results based on consulting domestic and foreign literature,and then analyzes the mechanism of action between the two;secondly,it analyzes the development of entrepreneurship education and industrial upgrading in colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province.A detailed analysis of the status quo of the two;after determining the relevant statistical variables of the two,the corresponding data from 2004 to 2018 was used to construct an econometric model,and the unit root test,cointegration analysis,Granger causality test and vector error correction model were used to empirically The influence of the former on the latter is studied;finally,based on the empirical research results,it summarizes and makes recommendations.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The results of descriptive statistical analysis show that entrepreneurial education in colleges and universities affects the upgrading of industries through human capital accumulation,knowledge and product innovation,and technological progress.On the contrary,industrial upgrading has an impact on the knowledge structure and scale of entrepreneurial education in colleges and universities.And quality have an important impact,and the two promote and influence each other;(2)There is a long-term and stable co-integration relationship between entrepreneurship education and industrial upgrading in Jiangxi universities;(3)Without considering other factors,in the short term,Jiangxi Each 1% increase in the internal expenditures of university R&D funds will result in a decrease of 0.011%,an increase of 0.482% and a decrease of 0.020%in the next year’s industrial product upgrade,industrial technology upgrade,and TL index.Each increase in the number of university students by 1% will cause a downturn.One year’s industrial product upgrade,industrial technology upgrade and TL index increased by 0.049%,0.227%,and 0.019% respectively.It can be seen that entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities basically plays a positive role in promoting industrial upgrading;(4)This article mainly makes recommendations from the following two aspects: In terms of efficient entrepreneurship education,we should continue to expand investment in entrepreneurship education,improve curriculum systems,and strengthen entrepreneurship education practices and practices.Promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.In terms of industrial upgrading,it is necessary to promote industrial restructuring,strengthen government guidance and support,and enhance regional independent innovation capabilities.
