| The history of China’s economic development is also the history of the change of industrial structure and employment structure. In recent years,China’s economy has developed rapidly, and the industrial structure and employment structure have been continuously optimized and adjusted, all of which have been successfully upgraded to the pattern of "three, two, one".However, the pace of adjustment between the two is not consistent, always in a state of deviation, there are industrial development "deindustrialization",employment polarization and other problems. In order to realize the healthy development of China’s economy,we must promote the balanced development of industrial structure and employment structure. In this context, the purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of the deviation between industrial structure and employment structure on economic growth, considering the heterogeneity of the coordination between industrial structure and employment structure among different industries.furthermore,we study the impact of the deviation of industrial structure and employment structure on economic growth, and expect to adjust the relationship between industrial structure and employment structure as the foothold. To provide policy inspiration for the comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development of the economy in the future.By using the index of deviation degree of industrial structure, this paper quantifies the deviation degree between industrial structure and employment structure of China’s three industries into specific numerical values. It is found that the deviation between industrial structure and employment structure of primary and secondary industries in China is more prominent, and the tertiary industry is in a state of low-level equilibrium. In a word, the imbalance between industrial structure and employment structure still exists in our country.Considering that scientific and technological innovation is the key factor affecting the relationship between industrial structure and employment structure, this paper establishes a benchmark model and a regulatory effect model based on the panel data of 30 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)from 2000 to 2018.It is found that under the regulation of scientific and technological innovation, the deviation between industrial structure and employment structure and the efficiency of economic growth may be in the same direction or deviate from each other. The two are not a simple linear relationship. Then,it constructs the panel threshold model to explore the impact of the deviation between the industrial structure and employment structure of the three industries on economic growth with scientific and technological innovation as the threshold variable. The results show that under the influence of scientific and technological innovation, there is a threshold effect between the deviation of industrial structure and employment structure and economic growth, and the threshold effect of the three industries is not the same.Specifically, under the effect of scientific and technological innovation, the impact of industrial structure deviation of primary and tertiary industries on economic growth has always been a negative effect, and the negative effect has gradually increased, which shows that the deviation between industrial structure and employment structure of primary and tertiary industries seriously hinders China’s economic growth and brings great challenges to China’s economic development.Alleviating the structural deviation of agriculture and service industries has become the primary task of healthy economic development in the future. The influence of industrial structure deviation degree of secondary industry on economic growth shows the change law of "significant negative effect-negative effect weakening-negative effect is not significant-significant positive effect".After crossing the third threshold, the influence of industrial structure deviation on economic growth changes from negative effect to positive effect, indicating that when scientific and technological innovation reaches a certain level. The influence of the deviation of the industrial structure and employment structure of the secondary industry on China’s economic growth has changed from inhibition to promotion, which has brought opportunities for the economic development of our country. Finally, through the construction of a two-way fixed effect model,it is proved that the rapid upgrading of industrial structure is the key reason for the deviation between industrial structure and employment structure.According to the statistical and empirical results, combined with the development characteristics of China’s three industries at the present stage,in order to break down the barriers to the flow of talents among industries and change the upgrading direction of industrial structure,we are committed to coordinating the relationship between industrial structure and employment structure.in order to promote high-quality economic development. |
