Research On The Coordination Of Industrial Structure And Employment Structure In China Under The Background Of Artificial Intelligence

As the representative of the epoch-making technological revolution,artificial intelligence has the characteristics of high integration of social and technical attributes.Artificial intelligence has brought about the improvement of productivity,the transformation of production mode,and the profound thinking of production and employment under the background of technological innovation.At present,the application of AI technology in the field of production is mainly embodied in the application of industrial robots.China has the world's largest market for industrial robots.2017 is known as the “Year of AI”.The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should “promote the deep integration of Internet,big data,artificial intelligence and real economy”.The wide application of artificial intelligence technology will inevitably lead to the further adjustment of industrial structure and the change of employment structure.It is urgent to observe and guide the adjustment of labor employment structure adapting to technological progress.Firstly,this paper defined the concepts of AI,industrial structure,employment structure and structural deviation degree.Based on literature research and measurement of structural deviation degree of industry in China,it pointed out that there are mismatches between industrial structure and employment structure,large gap between structural deviation degree of tertiary industry and production efficiency,slow labor transfer among industries,and subdivision within Tertiary industry.The structural deviation of the industry is quite different.Secondly,through Granger causality test and OLS regression,this paper made an empirical analysis of the impact of AI on industrial structure and employment structure,and made a theoretical analysis of the coordination between industrial structure and employment structure under the background of AI combined with industrial structure change theory,labor mobility theory and skill-biased technology progress theory.Through literature research,empirical research and theoretical research,the main conclusions as follows:First,the application of artificial intelligence has a significant impact on the secondary industry at present,and the impact on the primary industry and the tertiary industry is not obvious,and the application of artificial intelligence will bring about an increase in the deviation between the industrial structure and employment structure of the secondary industry;second,the change of relative labor productivity of the three industries brought about by artificial intelligence,so the application of artificial intelligence technology will promote the labor force of the secondary industry.Transfer and employment stability,promote the direct transfer of labor force from the primary industry to the tertiary industry,accelerate the declining employment of the primary industry,the stable employment of the secondary industry,and the transfer trend of the final employment to the tertiary industry;third,artificial intelligence generally brings three industries to enhance the demand for high-skilled labor force,and promotes the inflow of labor force to emerging industries,bringing about our country.Fourthly,to promote the coordinated development of industrial structure and employment structure while developing artificial intelligence,we need to solve the key problems such as the mismatch of policy effects on industrial upgrading and employment adjustment,the lack of liquidity of labor market,the mismatch between employment upgrading and industrial upgrading brought by the introduction of adaptive technology,and the miscellaneous content of tertiary industry.Finally,according to the main conclusions drawn from this study,especially the key issues to be solved in order to promote the coordinated development of industrial structure and employment structure in China under the background of artificial intelligence,relevant policy recommendations are put forward.Including: one is to coordinate industrial upgrading and labor skills upgrading;the other is to improve the relevant system to promote labor mobility;the third is to strengthen the guidance of AI applied to industrial production-related investment;the fourth is to promote the formation of the fourth industry under the guidance of AI and other technologies.This paper combined the problems of industrial structure and employment structure with the development of artificial intelligence,and provided a new idea for the coordinated development of industrial structure and employment structure in China through the combination of empirical test and theoretical analysis.At the same time,combined with the insufficient explanatory power of China's three industrial divisions to the current economic development,from the perspective of the impact of AI development on China's industrial structure and employment structure,it providedij a new idea for China's four industrial divisions.
