Research On The Improvement Of College Counselors’ Ideological Work Ability

College counselors are the disseminators and practitioners of socialist ideology.When colleges and universities complete the important tasks of "two consolidations",singing the main melody and cultivating a new generation of people,they need counselors as a powerful team.Therefore,the ideological work ability of college counselors affects the security and stability of the ideological work in colleges and universities,as well as the process and direction of cultivating socialist talents with Chinese characteristics.In today’s era,facing the changes and convergence of various cultures and thoughts,counselors must keep pace with the times,catch up with the pace of the times,update ideological work ideas,change ideological work methods,enrich ideological work content,highly identify with the advantages of socialism,and pass the mainstream values and thoughts to college students.To improve the ideological work ability of college counselors has become an important problem to be faced urgently.This paper follows the research logic of finding,analyzing and finally solving the problems of the instructor’s ideological working ability,and conducts research from the following four parts.The first part mainly elaborates the purpose and significance of studying and improving the ideological work ability of college counselors,combs the relevant literature at home and abroad,clarifies the research methods and ideas,puts forward the innovation points and difficulties,and lays the foundation for the paper writing.The second part summarizes the concepts and theoretical basis related to the ideological work ability of college counselors,defines the four core contents that their ability should have.The third part analyzes the results of the questionnaire survey and interview,combs the achievements of the ideological work ability construction of college counselors,finds out the existing problems of the four core ideological work ability,and probes into the deep-seated causes of the problems.The fourth part points out the three principles that should be followed in the improvement of their ability according to the national development requirements for the team of counselors,puts forward countermeasures and paths that can effectively improve the ideological work ability of college counselors from four aspects of ideological information research and judgment ability,ideological publicity ability,daily education ability and spiritual guidance ability.Ideology of college counselors working ability of comprehensive promotion,to promote the construction of ideological leadership in colleges and universities is of great significance and role,a counselor with scientific ideas,knowledge and method,to solve the existing problems and improve the ideological work,is beneficial to carry forward the socialist core values,to stabilize the subject status of the mainstream ideology in our country and safety,cultivate students to become red and designed the builders and successors,realizing the maximization of ideological work efficiency.
