| Middle school students need to develop "self-identity",which requires them to use the ability to distinguish between reason and emotion, and to properly deal with the principal contradiction that is prominent at this stage, and to deal with the relationship between family, school and self. The family is an important living place for an individual. The pattern of parent-child relationship is closely related to the attitude and behavior of the individual after birth. When an individual can distinguish between reason and emotion,he can obtain good interpersonal relationships, have sufficient social support, and carry out a normal life. This study used the "Parent-Child Affinity Scale","Parent-Child Conflict","Peer Relationship Scale","Self Differentiation Scale" and "Mental Health Scale" for 575 middle school students in J city to survey the relationship between parent-child relationship and mental health.Examine the mediating effect of self-differentiation and the moderating of peer relationships. The results are as follows:(1)The parent-child affinity of middle school students has prominent differences in gender, grade, whether it is an only child family, and family economic status. The father-child affinity has significant differences in the mother’s education level, and the mother-child conflict has significant differences in grade.(2)There are remarkable differences in the mental health of middle school students in grades, family economic conditions, and mothers’ education levels.(3)The self-differentiation level of middle school students has obvious differences in gender, family economic status and mother’s education level.(4)There are prominent differences in the acceptance of peers of middle school students in whether they are leaders in class, family economic status, and mother’s education level;peer fear of low self-esteem has remarkable differences in gender, grade, family economic status, and the level of mother’s education.(5)The middle school students’ parent-child relationship,self-differentiation,peer relationship and mental health are significantly correlated with each other.Parent-child affinity,self-differentiation,peer acceptance has significantly negatively correlated with mental health, and parent-child conflict, peer fear and low self-esteem are significantly positively correlated with mental health.(6)Self-differentiation plays a mediating role in the influence of parent-child relationship on mental health.Among them,it plays a completely mediating role in the relationship between mother-child affinity and mental health, and partly mediates the relationship between father-child affinity and parent-child conflict on mental health.(7)Peer relationship plays a mediating role in the mediating effect of parent-child relationship on mental health through self-differentiation.Father-child affinity and father-child conflict affect mental health through self-differentiation,the first half is regulated by peer acceptance, and the first and second half are regulated by peer fear and low self-esteem;mother-child affinity and mother-child conflict affect mental health through self-differentiation The first half and the direct effect of the diarrhea are regulated by the peer’s acceptance, and the first half and the second half are regulated by the peer’s fear and low self-esteem.Conclusion: Parent-child relationship can not only directly affect mental health, but also indirectly affect mental health through self-differentiation;peer acceptance and peer fear and low self-esteem regulate the mediating effect of parent-child relationship through self-differentiation on mental health, and the mediating mediation effect is established. |
