Preschool education is an important part of the national education system,and it is an important stage for lifelong learning and comprehensive development.With the continuous progress of our society,the continuous improvement of the education system,the preschool education is also developing and improving rapidly.With the introduction of relevant policies,all kinds of children’s institutions in China are growing rapidly.However,the number and quality of kindergarten teachers are relatively backward,showing an obvious contradiction between supply and demand.Preschool education major in secondary vocational school,as the forefront of cultivating preschool teachers in China,plays an important role in preschool education.However,with the gradual improvement of the development of education,the requirements for preschool teachers are also constantly improving,which brings the development bottleneck to the students of pre-school education in secondary vocational schools.This not only causes us to worry about the future development of pre-school education in secondary vocational schools.How to ensure the sustainable development of pre-school education major and the development and employment of pre-school education major students has become an urgent issue.This paper takes the preschool education major of three secondary vocational schools in Changchun as the research object,summarizes the core concepts and the research situation at home and abroad through the literature method,investigates the students and teachers of preschool education in three secondary vocational schools in Changchun by using the questionnaire,and interviews the teachers of Preschool Education Major of secondary vocational schools,kindergarten directors and some graduates’ employers to understand the situation The current situation of preschool education in secondary vocational schools in Changchun.This paper summarizes some problems existing in the development of preschool education major in secondary vocational schools in Changchun City,the main problems are:unclear training objectives of the school,no characteristics of the major;poor quality of students,serious imbalance between men and women;weak teaching staff;insufficient training equipment;difficult entry of public kindergartens,low satisfaction of employers.In order to ensure the high-quality development of pre-school education in secondary vocational schools,some suggestions are put forward,such as the adjusting the training objectives,the establishment of characteristic majors;promoting the all-round development of students,increasing the enrollment of male preschool education,strengthening the construction of teaching staff,increasing the investment in education,improving the training facilities and equipment,broadening the development channels of secondary vocational students,and improving the satisfaction of employers.
