Abstract/Summary:
Occupational burnout is a very common phenomenon in today’s society,and it usually occurs in professional groups with high repetition rate of work tasks,and college teachers are one of them.Occupational burnout originates from mechanically boring behavior,reflecting the exhaustion of people who engage in the work and lose their passion for life.Today’s social market is fiercely competitive,and people are prone to slack and fatigue due to various reasons in their long-term professional behavior.This phenomenon was once referred to by psychologists as "enterprise sleepers." Different groups and individuals have different characteristics of job burnout and burnout at different stages of development.In recent years,college teachers ’occupational burnout has become prominent.First,it has been caused by long-term repeated and repeated teaching disciplines.Second,in the face of harsh competition mechanisms,teachers must face the dual pressure of heavy scientific research tasks and teaching tasks.When the pressure exceeds a certain level,Teachers are prone to job burnout.Burnout can be temporary or long-term.Long-term job burnout will have serious adverse effects on personal mental health and social harmony and stability.Therefore,it is an urgent task to do a good job in the investigation of college teachers’ job burnout and establish a mechanism for job burnout.This research investigates and analyzes the burnout situation of college teachers and combines the theoretical and practical survey results to propose corresponding countermeasures for the construction of job burnout grooming mechanism.The article consists of seven parts,which are introduction,theoretical basis,current situation investigation,analysis of causes,and countermeasures and conclusions.Among them,the introduction is to introduce the research background and research frontier dynamics,and briefly introduce the overall framework and research ideas of the article.The frontier research of the research combs and summarizes the situation,causes and coping styles of job burnout at home and abroad,and the job burnout of university teachers to provide theoretical guidance for the development of this study.The theoretical basic part mainly introduces the concepts related to occupational burnout,discusses the hazards of occupational burnout from three aspects of educational work,teachers ’psychological state and teachers’ cognitive situation,and introduces related theories.The status quo investigation,analysis of causes and countermeasures are the main part of this study.Through a survey of the status quo,we summarized the situation of job burnout among teachers in three universities in Guangdong Province,and found that the problem of job burnout among college teachers was relatively prominent,and more than half of teachers had job burnout.At the same time,the research found that there is a certain difference in the job burnout level of college teachers in terms of gender,marriage,education,age,professional title,teaching age,and the type of college.In the analysis of the causes of job burnout,this study summarizes the possible causes at the teacher level,school level,and social level,and deeply analyzes the sources of college teachers’ job burnout.On this basis,this article also proposes to the three main bodies of teachers,society and schools,including optimizing professional knowledge and abilities,improving personality literacy,strengthening willingness to teach,enhancing professional development initiative,reducing workload,improving the evaluation system,strengthening Teacher training,strengthening democratic management and psychological support and care,re-education of teachers,reducing role load,and other countermeasures for the construction of job burnout guidance mechanisms provide a certain reference for alleviating college teachers’ job burnout.
