| Now,the country increasingly attaches importance to the training of vocational college students,in the hope of training more highly skilled talents, skilled craftsmen, and craftsmen of great countries,in order to supplement the huge talent gap in the manufacturing industry and other fields of our country, improve the technical level, promote industrial upgrading and economic development,so as to inject new impetus into the realization of building a great modern socialist country. However,at present, the society has a stereotype of vocational college students with low education level and cultural deposits.Meanwhile, vocational college students are also faced with problems such as low social recognition, difficult employment and low salary, which will make them feel excessive ostracism.More importantly,a large number of studies have found that suffering from ostracism will have an impact on individual development issues such as mental health, academic life and career development. These problems will continue to affect the training quality of vocational college students, which is not conducive to meeting the country’s current needs for skilled talents, and then hindering the industrial upgrading and economic development of our country. Therefore, the research on the influencing factors of ostracism of vocational college students is carried out,it is of great significance to the cultivation of talents under the background of national new-type industrialization. It is an objective fact that vocational college students are subjected to ostracism, but most of the research on current Ostracism focuses on college students, and there are few studies on the formation mechanism of Ostracism. Therefore,in order to study the formation mechanism of Ostracism of vocational college students,The adolescent The Ostracism Experience Scale for Adolescents,Family Socioeconomic Status questionnaire and positive psychological capital questionnaire were used as research tools. This study selects students from a vocational college in Yantai City as the research object.Specifically,3122 vocational college students were selected for the cross-sectional study;A total of 745 freshmen in vocational colleges were selected and followed up for four times every four weeks for four months for longitudinal study. The specific research contents and results are as follows:In the first study,a cross-sectional approach was adopted, the relationship between vocational college students’ Ostracism and Family Socioeconomic Status and Positive Psychological Capital was preliminarily explored. The mediation model results show:(1)The direct effect of family socioeconomic status of vocational college students on ostracism is significant(β=-0.73,95%CI:-0.92~-0.55).(2)The Positive Psychological Capital plays a mediating role between Family SES and Ostracism(mediating effects:-0.32,95%CI:-0.41~-0.24).This indicates that the family socioeconomic status of vocational college students can not only directly reduce their perceived ostracism, but also indirectly reduce their level of ostracism by improving their positive psychological capital. In the second study, further adopts longitudinal research design to investigate the change trajectory of ostracism of freshmen in higher vocational colleges during the transition period, and the role of family socioeconomic status and positive psychological capital. The data analysis and results of this study are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the unconditional latent variable growth model,it is found that the trajectory of ostracism of higher vocational freshmen during the transition period shows a linear downward trend(β=-0.43,p<0.001),That is,it is highest at the time of admission, and then decreases over time.(2)Through the analysis of conditional latent variable growth model,it is found that:(1)Family SES significantly negatively predicts the initial level of ostracism of vocational college students(β=-0.24,p<0.001),and has a significantly positive predictive effect on the rate of change(β=0.18,p<0.001).In other words, the higher the family socioeconomic status, the lower the initial level of ostracism, but the rate of decline in the subsequent ostracism will be slower.(2)Positive psychological capital of vocational college students can significantly negatively predict the initial level of ostracism of vocational college students freshmen(β=-0.17,p<0.001).At the same time,it has significant positive prediction effect on its change rate(β=0.13,p=0.016),In other words, the higher the positive psychological capital, the lower the initial level of ostracism, but in the subsequent ostracism decline slower.(3)Through the analysis of the mediated latent variable growth model,it is found that family socioeconomic status can positively predict the level of positive psychological capital(β=-0.17,p<0.001),and has a significantly positive predictive effect on the rate of Ostracism change(β=0.13,p=0.016).Family SES can positively predict the level of positive psychological capital(β=0.17,p<0.001),that is,the higher the family socioeconomic status is,the higher the positive psychological capital is;Positive Psychological Capital plays a bridging role between Family Socioeconomic Status and The intercept of Ostracism(mediating effects:-0.35,95%CI:-0.55,-0.18)and the development of Ostracism(mediating effects: 0.03,95%CI: 0.005,0.069).This study comprehensively investigated the relevant influencing factors of Ostracism through horizontal research and longitudinal research.Through the above two empirical studies,it is proved that Family SES will have an impact on the change of Ostracism of vocational college students through Positive Psychological Capital, and verified the relevant views of social capital theory and resource conservation theory are verified. At the same time, there will be significant gender differences in the change of Ostracism perception of vocational college students, and the decline rate of vocational college students Ostracism will be faster than that of female students.Feeling too much Ostracism is not conducive to the training of vocational college students; Therefore,we should strengthen the cultivation of positive psychology for vocational college students and strengthen the relationship between home and school,This may be an effective way to reduce the feelings of Ostracism of vocational college students, while promoting the physical and mental health development of vocational students. |
