The stage of secondary education is an important period for the gradual formation and development of students’ self-awareness,personality,talents and interests.As the orientation of secondary vocational education has shifted from complete employmentoriented education to vocational basic education in the past,it is increasingly necessary to study the career education in secondary vocational schoolsThis research is mainly based on the case study method,and according to the research ideas of "theoretical guidance,history sorting,situation presenting,cause analysis,and countermeasures",it answers what factors affect career education in secondary vocational schools and how to optimize the development of career education in secondary vocational schools.This research is divided into seven parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background,research significance,literature review,definition of core concepts and research plan.The second chapter focuses on expounding the theoretical basis of this research,that is,the Systems Theory Framework of career education.The third chapter sorts out and analyzes the development of career education in secondary vocational schools and its implementation characteristics at different stages.The fourth chapter presents the implementation status of career education in three representative secondary vocational schools in Shanghai through the current situation investigation.The fifth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of career education in secondary vocational schools from three dimensions of school internal system,social system and environment-social system based on the framework of system theory.The sixth chapter,based on the analysis of the predicament faced by school career education,puts forward some suggestions for optimizing the implementation path of Shanghai secondary career education.The last chapter is the conclusion and prospect of this research.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The evolution of secondary vocational education policy has its unique historical stages,showing its external adaptability and internal ductility.(2)At present,the influencing factors of secondary vocational education are mainly influenced by students,school administrators and teachers in the school system;by families,enterprises,vocational education groups and third-party institutions in the social system;by industry development,the new crown epidemic and government decisions in the environment-social system.(3)At present,the overall top-level design of secondary vocational education is weak,individualized education is lagging behind,teachers’ competence is insufficient,social support system is not perfect,and the supervision and evaluation mechanism needs to be improved.(4)In response to these problems,this study puts forward the optimization path of secondary vocational education,which is building an overall design that integrates into the three major systems,creating a student-centered personalized training model,strengthen the construction of professional teaching staff,building a resource platform for deep integration between schools and localities and establishing a multi-directional interactive evaluation mechanism.
