Now our country is in the transformation period from a big manufacturing nation to a powerful nation,we need massive technical and skilled talents.As the important part of social labour force,the career development of secondary vocational school students is closely related to the social progress.Beside,The work regulations of vocational guidance in secondary vocational school printed and distributed by China Department of Education lays a definite indication that we need train students' awareness and ability of management of school work and career development.But students' high turnover rate also reflected many problems in secondary vocational school students' career development.As the world's representative in the career planning and education,Donald.E.Super opened up a new perspective and promoted the changes from the static "person level match" to focus on dynamic sustainable development.His mature career development theory had used in several countries and recognized by domestic experts and scholars.Therefore,it has important reference value and meaning to the career development of secondary vocational school students.Super's career development theory based on self-concept,measured by career maturity,combined with arch mode,stage theory of development and career-rainbow chart.Super's theory is integrated with the nature of career planning,which emphasized the states of the individual.Combined with present situation of secondary vocational school students' career development,Super's career development theory will make our career planning more scientific and more effective,and it will provide new guiding directions and new concept.This study based on Super's career development theory.First,from the student's perspective,it researched the present situation and analysed problems.Then,drew lessons from the valuable parts of Super's career development theory,this study tried to find the reasons from students,school,and society.Finally,it put forward effective responses.As for individual students,they should improve cognitive to the career planning,correctly understand career,build self-concept system,learn role conversion,improve the career maturity and determine individual professional target.As for the secondary vocational school,they must strengthen guidance,establish dynamic development ideas,perfect professional organization,exploit diversified channel,guide students by stage,improve teachers' professional level.As for society,they should seek cooperation and support with all participators.government need provide policy guarantee,enterprises provide practice opportunities by integration of production and education,families should guide effectively.Only by this way,we can improve the present situation of the career development for secondary vocational school students,and realize individual career development.
