| Objectives: In China,Pilates,as an emerging sports project, has been recognized by more and more people for its efficient and unique training method. With the increase of elective sports items in colleges and universities, many colleges have opened Pilates courses, and Pilates is attracting more and more college students’ attention.Pilates can be done on a Pilates machine,on a Pilates mat or on a yoga mat.It emphasizes the ability to exercise conscious control over the body while breathing in certain patterns to achieve fitness and beauty. In the traditional Pilates teaching, various conventional teaching methods are commonly used, such as teaching method, demonstration method, practice method, etc.According to the current situation and needs, this paper introduces the imagery training method into Pilates teaching in colleges and universities, aiming to explore the application effect of imagery training method in Pilates teaching in colleges and universities. To provide some ideas for Pilates teachers and promote the good Pilates teaching. In this paper,40 male students from Class 2 and Class 5,grade 2020 of physical education major of Guangzhou sport University were randomly divided into two groups,20 of whom were in the experimental group and 20 in the control group. The experimental group was taught by the combination of imagery training and conventional teaching method, while the control group was taught by conventional teaching method. The experiment was carried out for 12 weeks, twice a week and 80 minutes a time. After the experiment, the students’ physical quality, motor imagery ability and skill level were tested, and the Chinese version OF SPSS25.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data.Results:1.After twelve weeks of Pilates teaching experiment, there was no significant difference in motor imagery ability of the control group compared with that before the experiment(P > 0.05).2.Compared with before the experiment, the ability of motor imagery in the experimental group was significantly different(P < 0.05).Compared with the control group, the experimental group students were more confident in Pilates cognition and learning.3.In the Pilates related physical fitness test of the experimental group with the representation training method, there were significant differences in other items except the Pilates leaning up(P < 0.05);In the control group, there were no significant differences in all other items except 100 strokes(P > 0.05).The experimental group had better physical fitness related to Pilates(sitting forward bend,Pilates plank,Pilates bend,Pilates squat,100 claps,Pilates balance on one leg)than the control group.4.There was no significant difference between the control group and the experimental group in the pass rate of the Pilates test, but the percentage of the experimental group with good or above Pilates test score was significantly higher than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.Imagery training method can improve the sports imaging ability of male students majoring in physical education.2.Compared with the conventional teaching mode, the representation training method has a better incentive effect on students and helps to improve their confidence in skills learning.3.The application of imagery training method in Pilates teaching in colleges and universities has a good effect on promoting the growth of students’ physical quality; It can also improve students’ learning efficiency of Pilates techniques;Compared with the control group, the experimental group has higher self-learning ability and better classroom feedback and teaching effect, which indicates that the representation training method can effectively improve the effect of Pilates teaching in colleges and universities.4.The effect of representation training method in Pilates teaching in colleges and universities is better than the conventional teaching method. |
