Consecutive Interpretation Practice Report On Sealing And Abandoning Wells Project

This is a practical report of consecutive interpretation.Based on the practice of the Plug and Abandonment of the Well in a large-scale oil and gas project in which the author participated,it mainly combs and summarizes the problems and phenomena encountered in the interpretation practice.Also,it puts forward solutions to the problems and summarizes the interpretation practice.This practice report is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the background,content,characteristics and requirements of the interpreting task.The second chapter describes the whole process of interpreting,including preparation before interpreting and interpreting process.In the third chapter,the author lists the examples and analysis in the process of interpreting task.In the first section,the author combs the problems of improper interpretation of abbreviations,inaccurate translation of equipment names,accent of source language and redundancy of interpreting.In the second section,the author discusses the corresponding solutions to the main problems,including the development of abbreviations,literal translation and positive confirmation for the names of equipment,discrimination,listening and speculation of accent,also appropriate embedded modifiers and translation simplification.The last chapter is a summary of the whole interpreting practice.It talks about the necessary quality that an excellent interpreter should possess and the expectation of the future study.
