Teaching design is the early preparation of teaching,which links theoretical knowledge with practical teaching,and is an important guarantee for teachers to carry out effective teaching.In this paper,we choose the lesson "Mary Cried" in the second volume of Chinese Course(3rd edition)for teaching design.The lesson "Mary Cried" is an elementary Chinese synthesis lesson.Through preliminary analysis,this paper firstly determines the teaching objectives of this course from three aspects,which are the language skills,speech knowledge and strategies.Also the important and difficult points of teaching are confirmed,which are the overlapping forms of the clutch words and the teaching of sentence patterns related to the auxiliary word "le".Then based on the principles of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,such as student-centered,intensive speaking and plenty of practice,and comprehensive development of skills,various teaching methods and techniques such as demonstration,situation introduction,contrast and performance are selected flexibly in the teaching of new words,grammar and practice.And then we planned the teaching steps and time used for every class.After that,the specific teaching plan of the three classes is designed.In the end,the actual teaching effect is summarized.This design has many advantages,such as diversity and applicability of methods,highlighting the students' main position,close teaching sections.However,there are also some deficiencies,such as insufficient understanding of learners and dependence on teaching theory,etc.
