Research On Uighur Translation Of The Protagonist's Character Description In The Novel "Li Zicheng" (Volume 1)

Li Zicheng,a historical novel written by Yao xueyin,is one of the excellent works in the literary circle of our country.While respecting the historical facts,the author uses his artistic ability to describe complicated historical process and the magnificent peasant uprising more than 300 years ago.Li Zicheng,as a long historical novel,contains many plots and characters.The author observes comprehensively the complexity and richness of the characters.The novel has vivid,accurate and distinct language.It is world-famous for its artistic achievements and unique pioneering contributions.It is regarded by the academic circles as a work to fill the gaps in the field of long historical novels since the May 4th movement.It is a landmark of literary works.As the soul of the novel,character description can determine the success of novel creation.As a historical novel,Li Zicheng includes many characters,so characterization and description play an important role in the novel.In the process of translating the novel,how the translator accurately conveys these key points to the readers directly affects the readers' understanding of the novel.In Uyghur translation of Li Zicheng,translators grasp the content characteristics of the novel and use a variety of translation techniques and methods to vividly reproduce the style and characteristics of the original character description,so that readers can get the same feelings as the original readers.This paper takes the first volume of Li Zicheng(two volumes)as the research object,analyzes the appearance,psychology,action and language description of the hero Li Zicheng from the perspective of character description and studies the Uyghur translation of the novel and analyzes the flexible use of translation skills used in the nocel.
