In recent years,with the increasingly close cultural exchanges between China and Russia,the amount of mutual translation and publication of literary works between the two countries has increased year by year.Detective novels,as one of the most popular themes in literary works,their translation volume has also been significantly increased.As the form of detective novels becomes more and more perfect,its creative mode is getting closer to the life of the masses and becoming increasingly diversified.The mutual translation of this type of novel plays a certain role in the cultural exchanges between the two countries.This article is a translation practice report.The report is taken from the modern detective novel "Time Ruling" by Tatyana Polyakova,a famous Russian detective novelist.The novel was published in 2017 and mainly tells the story of the heroine Niu Xia struggling to find the truth about the disappearance of her mother.The novel has vivid language and intricate plot.It is one of the typical representative works of Tatiana Polyakova's many detective novels.This report analyzes the translation problems that occurred in the process of translating "Time·Judgment" from the perspective of dialogue and monologue,using various translation techniques such as transliteration,augmentation,and antonym translation.The purpose of this translation practice is to accumulate translation experience and improve personal translation level.In view of the fact that there is no Chinese translation of this work,this translation practice can provide a reference for readers and researchers who like to study the detective novels of Tatiana Polyakova.
