As an interdisciplinary field,the sociology of technology has earlier set information justice as an important topic.As a new technology that has a profound impact on the present age,information technology and its relationship with society have been concerned by sociologists since the middle and late 20 th century.This report is based on the normative social theory work Toward Information Justice: Technology,Politics,and Policy for Data in Higher Education administration,using sociological and philosophical research methods and relying on the information management practices of the Utah Valley University,this book focuses on the issue of information justice in standardized assessment of information practices.This chapter takes the American graduation rate measure as an example to explore the role of the metric in political practice.First of all,the translator has reviewed the domestic and foreign classics and the front literature,and has formulated the reasonable implementation plan.In the case study part,the translator summarizes the translation strategies in terms of words,sentences and textual cohesion.The methods of verb part-of-speech conversion,amplification and contextual analysis are discussed at the lexical level;and the methods of word order adjustment are adopted at the sentence level,from the aspects of adverbial word order,attributive word order,parenthesis word order and passive voice word order;the translator analyzes the methods that need to be adjusted,the translation of this text for the translation of educational technology has accumulated material and experience,which is helpful for the follow-up translation of such text to provide reference.
