In recent years,online education has been developed so fast due to the epidemic that online cheating has become a hot topic in higher education and attracted widespread attention.On the basis of the trend,it is necessary to translate and introduce some papers on the issues of online cheating,The paper,which is the translation text named Examining Online Cheating in Higher Education Using Traditional Classroom Cheating as a Guide,presents a critical analysis of the current literature on online cheating in online education and proposes areas for future research where gaps in the literature exist.By the use of word class shifts and unit shifts,the author translated the words that could not be interpreted through literal translation.To make the passive sentences in the source text be understood better,the author translated them into active sentences or passive sentences in Chinese.In addition,the translation of textual cohesion was analyzed from the perspectives of discourse reference and ellipsis.The author hopes to provide some advice for the resolutions of some problems on online cheating in higher education through the translation and analysis of the text.
