"Education is the foundation of a hundred years plan".Education plays a leading role in China's socialist modernization.As the main body of education and teaching activities,teachers' comprehensive quality and ability are related to the overall level of education development in the future.Whether the legitimate rights and interests of teachers can be effectively protected or not is related to whether teachers have enough motivation and confidence to continuously improve their comprehensive ability.Therefore,from the perspective of professional development,it is of great significance in educational theory and practice to explore effective protection strategies for the legitimate rights and interests of primary and secondary school teachers,so as to promote the overall professional ability of teachers.In this study,224 primary and secondary school teachers participated in the questionnaire survey and 5 teachers cooperated to complete the interview survey.Starting from six rights and interests closely related to teachers' professional development in Teachers Law and education related policy documents,such as professional title,training,scientific research,professional autonomy,performance and vacation,this paper analyzes the main problems existing in the current situation of teachers' rights and interests protection,and analyzes the attribution of the problems from four aspects of education administrative department,social environment,school management and teachers themselves.On the basis of the analysis,this paper tries to put forward the strategies to protect the rights and interests of primary and secondary school teachers in order to improve their professional development ability.
