Extracurricular reading can expand the horizon of junior high school students and nurture the spiritual world of junior high school students,and is inseparable from the overall development and lifelong development of junior high school students.However,the current social environment in China has changed greatly,which has affected the extracurricular reading activities of urban and rural junior high school students to a certain extent.This article aims to conduct a questionnaire survey and comparative analysis of the current extracurricular reading situation of urban and rural junior high school students,sum up the commonness and differences of urban and rural junior high school students in extracurricular reading activities,and put forward an operability to further improve the extracurricular reading situation of urban and rural junior high school students And targeted recommendations.In this study,a questionnaire survey was used,and 300 junior and second-year students were randomly selected from the urban schools and township schools in Zhongwei as survey objects.Based on the reading subject students,the comparison was made between urban and rural junior high school students' extracurricular reading motivation,extracurricular reading objects,and extracurricular reading.Extracurricular reading situation in four aspects:self-evaluation of methods,extracurricular reading.In the process of writing this article,through the method of literature research,I made an in-depth understanding of the relevant research on the current situation of junior high school students'extracurricular reading.In this study,a questionnaire survey method was used to randomly select 300 junior second grade students from urban junior high schools and township junior high schools in Zhongwei City as a survey object.From the perspective of reading main students,the comparative analysis of urban and rural junior high school students' reading motivation outside of class,Extracurricular reading objects,extracurricular reading methods,extracurricular reading self-evaluation four levels of extracurricular reading.Based on the above analysis,in order to improve the extracurricular reading situation of urban and rural junior high school students and promote the further healthy and orderly development of the extracurricular reading activities of urban and rural junior high school students,the author proposes to optimize the motivation of extracurricular reading and enhance the motivation of extracurricular reading;Optimize the way of extracurricular reading,improve the effectiveness of extracurricular reading;optimize the self-evaluation of extracurricular reading,and promote the healthy development of extracurricular reading.
