Career education is the process of education,work experience and life experience related to career development that one experiences in one's life.Since the implementation of the new college entrance examination reform,there has been a growing call for vocational education in ordinary high schools.There are many ways to carry out career education in ordinary high schools,among which it is feasible and effective to infiltrate career education into the teaching of various subjects.This paper mainly studies the infiltration of career education in geography teaching from the perspective of practical application.It is hoped that it can provide some practical experience for the research on the infiltration of career education in geography teaching.This paper analyzes the necessity of carrying out career education in high school with the method of literature research,and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of infiltrating career education in geography teaching.By using the method of literature analysis,the knowledge of geography compulsory 1 in high school in people's education edition is integrated with relevant vocational information to form relevant teaching contents.By means of questionnaire survey and interview,students,teachers and the school leader were investigated to analyze the current situation and difficulties of infiltrating career education in geography teaching.It discusses the effective ways and problems of infiltrating career education in geography teaching by means of teaching case analysis.The research shows that the teaching of geography is very suitable for career education because of its comprehensive characteristics.Most high school geography teachers and students agree that career education should be integrated into geography teaching.However,due to the shortage of class hours and the lack of professional knowledge reserve,the development of such education is affected.Therefore,we can carry out infiltration education through situational teaching,group cooperation,role playing,expert interview,visiting teaching and other methods.The ways of infiltration mainly include: using resources such as parents or experts to improve students' vocational experience or vocational knowledge reserve;Guide students to contact with life,pay attention to the career information around;Create the teaching situation,let the students substitute into the professional role to think about theproblem;Through cooperation and exchange,enrich students' professional knowledge.
