Teachers' professional development determines the development of schools and the overall development of students.School-based teaching and research,as an important way to promote teachers' professional development,can not only improve teachers' teaching ability,but also enhance teachers' research awareness.And in the actual school-based teaching and research activities,teachers to school-based teaching and research understanding? Are teachers motivated enough to participate in school-based research? Is the overall plan of school-based teaching and research reasonable and effective? These are the problems that this study wants to solve in depth.In this study,teachers from a junior middle school in Zhaoqing City were selected as the objects of investigation.The questionnaire and interview were used to investigate and analyze the current situation of teachers' participation in school-based teaching and research activities.The purpose of this study was to explore the problems and causes of teachers' participation in school-based teaching and research activities,and to provide suggestions for school-based teaching and research strategies to promote teachers' professional development.According to the survey data analysis and interview results,the main problems of the middle school teachers' participation in school-based teaching and research are: the teachers' teaching and research level is low,the ability of independent research is poor,the content of school-based teaching and research is single and inconsistent with the needs of teachers,the form of school-based teaching and research is lack of diversity,and the implementation effect of school-based teaching and research is not ideal.In view of the problems existing in school-based teaching and research,this study analyzes the causes of the problems from the school and teachers.The main reasons of the school are: the implementation of school-based teaching and research activities is lack of effective guidance,the overall planning of school-based teaching and research is not reasonable,the lack of effective system guarantee,and the lack of professional guidance for school-based teaching and research;the main reasons ofindividual teachers are: the lack of understanding of school-based teaching and research,and the weak awareness of participating in teaching and research.Based on the investigation and analysis of the present situation of teachers' participation in school-based teaching and research,this paper holds that the strategies of school-based teaching and research to promote teachers' professional development are as follows: first,to change the concept,play a leading role and cultivate teachers' researchers' consciousness;second,to reasonably plan the content and form of school-based teaching and research in combination with the actual situation;third,to improve the system and ensure the implementation of school-based teaching and research;fourth,to increase the school-based teaching and research The fifth is to build the teaching and research ecology and guarantee the development of school-based teaching and research.
