At present,the cultivation of high-quality talents is the focus of educational development strategy in Our country.The Geographical Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education formulated by the Ministry of Education puts forward the basic concept of "learning useful geography for life" in 2011.By the way,"all kinds of schools at all levels should start from the actual situation and the characteristics of students,implement the core quality and academic quality requirements into the teaching of all disciplines" has been proposed in the views on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of High Moral Virtues Establishment and People Cultivation in 2014.Therefore,research the teaching strategy of geographical life oriented to cultivate the core quality of junior middle school students,what is important to meet the basic knowledge needs of students’ life development,improve the core quality ability of junior high school students,and implement the teaching concept of cultivating people with morality.Under the guidance of life education theory,constructivism theory and cognitive development stage theory,applying the research methods of literature,questionnaire and experiment etc.,combining the current situation of junior high school geography life classroom teaching and geography core literacy cultivation,this paper focuses on exploring effective strategies for students’ Geography core literacy improvement.First of all,this paper introduces the research background and significance,analyzes the research status at home and abroad,expounds the research purpose,research methods and technical routes.It expounds the definition and theoretical basis of the relevant concepts,defines the concept of geographical life teaching and geographical core literacy,and explains the life education theory,constructivism theory and cognitive development stage theory.To explore the requirements of junior high school examination questions for geography knowledge and literacy in Guangdong Province in recent three years and investigates the current situation,analyzes the existing problems between geography life classroom implementation and students’ Geography core literacy in the junior high school.It combines the connotation of geographical core literacy,puts forward specific and feasible strategies,mainly focusing on the setting of teaching objectives,creating a living situation,enriching the form of classroom activities,etc.It designs teaching cases,carries out experimental research and comparative analysis of post test results,and finally draws conclusions and prospects of this study.According to the experimental results,teachers can stimulate students’ interest in learning by creating living situations and enriching teaching activities on the basis of clear teaching objectives and teaching materials,which has certain effectiveness in improving students’ geographical core literacy and solving practical problems in life.
