As one of the representatives of China’s excellent traditional boxing,taijiquan enjoys great popularity among the people for its long history,rich cultural connotation and remarkable fitness and health effects.With the improvement of the living standard of citizens in chengdu,fitness clubs have gradually become the gathering places for citizens to participate in fitness.In order to meet the diverse needs of members,taijiquan has been introduced into the courses of fitness clubs.After a long time of mutual integration,derived tai chi zen,four seasons health and other tai chi health courses,more and more health clubs began to open tai chi health courses.However,there are some problems in the development of taiji health course,such as research and development difficulties,single promotion form and poor quality of course.In this paper,the fitness club of chengdu tai chi health course members and fitness club managers as the research object,using literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,mathematical analysis and other research methods,analyzed the 97 chain fitness club of chengdu,to have courses in tai chi health of 14 major surveys fitness club.In this way,it contributes to the multi-directional innovation of tai chi,the diversified fitness needs of fitness club members and the more lasting and extensive development of tai chi health courses in chengdu fitness club.The following conclusions are drawn from the research :(1)the market potential of chengdu fitness club is great,the positioning of tai chi health courses is inaccurate,market segmentation is fuzzy and other problems,resulting in a small proportion of tai chi health courses;(2)influenced by the fitness atmosphere and membership services,the consumption level of members is significantly lower than the charging standard of fitness clubs.(3)the types of taiji health courses have been increased,and they are mainly set as free or configured courses in chengdu fitness clubs,which have certain market competitiveness;(4)the current situation of tai chi health courses is seriously polarized,and the overall trend is gradually decreasing;(5)during the promotion of taiji health care course,members have misconceptions about the course,lack of high-investment private trainer members,and low economic benefits.The Suggestions are as follows :(1)the chengdu municipal government department expands the publicity of national fitness and calls on more citizens to participate in and understand taijiquan correctly;(2)the club implements multi-type membership card,which can not only increase the popularity of the club,but also increase the utilization rate of the venue and increase the economic income;(3)to grasp the positioning of the slow pace of tai chihealth care courses,identify the needs of various groups,and promote the courses with targeted promotion strategies suitable for their own development;(4)set up research and development and coach training institutions of tai chi health courses,and establish the evaluation mechanism of tai chi health courses;(5)the win-win mode of talent transfer between sports colleges and fitness clubs is to provide special training and experience for coaches and members according to the characteristics,efficacy and culture of taijiquan,which is conducive to the correct guidance of coach membership.
