At present,Chinese university is in the critical period of "double first-class" construction, and the results have drawn much attention from around the world. In fact, evaluating the quality of talent training is the key link to test the effectiveness of it.From the theoretical research and practical exploration we can see that there are many existing achievements about the quality evaluation of talent cultivation in colleges and universities. However, from the perspective of alumni, there is still room for research expansion. Therefore,it has a certain value to analyze the factors that affect the quality of talent training in universities from the alumni perspective. The quality evaluation index system of talent cultivation in universities mainly refers to the standards or basis for evaluating the quality of talents by analyzing the alumni views.Analyze and confirm these factors or standards, and form the elements or standards that can evaluate the quality of talent training, and then decompose and layer them one by one to form a clear and well-structured evaluation system.Alumni actually refer to students who have received at least four years of systematic education at the same university, specifically refer to undergraduate graduate.Based on these, the core problem that the research mainly solves is: how to establish an evaluation index system for the quality of talent training in universities from the perspective of alumni. What's the difference to construct the evaluation indicators between based on the alumni's perspective and the existing evaluation indicators? With this question, the paper studies the research path of the quality evaluation index of college talent cultivation from alumni perspective based on the balanced scorecard theory. After that, the paper interviewed 44 college alumni from different types, ages, genders, and graduation years. The survey found that 44 alumni's evaluation of the quality of talents in universities does not only focus on the results of talent training, but also focuses on the experience of students in the process of studying—the conditions provided by their alma mater.Based on the interviews, the thesis summarizes the opinions of 44 alumni to form 21 indicators for evaluating the quality of talent cultivation in universities, and then sorts the 21 indicators into "environment","measures","capabilities","knowledge" and "quality" 5 first-level indicators. In order to quantify the indicators, the paper uses the analytic hierarchy process to construct a judgment matrix and multiple inspections finally determine the weight of the quality evaluation indicators of talent cultivation from the perspective of alumni.Specifically, the five primary indicators are “environment” at 9.75%,“measures” at 7.04%,“knowledge” at 23.99%,“capacity” at 39.49%,and “quality” at 19.73%.The "capacity" indicator has the highest weight among the five first-level indicators, close to 40%.At the same time,of the 21 indicators, the "interpersonal communication ability" and "practical ability" accounted for the highest proportion, accounting for 15.95% and 12.65%,respectively,close to 30%.The proportions of the "knowledge" and "quality" indicators follow the "capacity" indicators at about 24% and 20% respectively, while the "environment" and "measures" indicators account for less of the five first-level indicators at about 9.75% and 7.04%.In summary, the thesis expands the perspective of quality evaluation of talent cultivation in universities, and provides research materials for establishing a more comprehensive, specific, scientific, and systematic evaluation index system, which is conducive to further research on this field. At the same time, the alumni's reflection on the status of talent training in universities helpful for universities to sense the current social and alumni's needs and adjust teaching arrangements in a timely manner.
