With the development of society,the reform of education and the development of biology,the requirements for the professionalism of biology teachers are increasing day by day,and the requirements for the teaching skills of biology teachers are increasing.Therefore,it is necessary to fully understand the status of the professional development of teachers' teaching skills.New teachers are the starting point for teachers' professional development and an important stage for teachers to strengthen their teaching skills.Therefore,this study takes the development new teachers' status of teaching skills in middle school biology as an entry point.And 10 teaching skills including explanning skill,questioning skill,presentation skill,import skill,blackboard writing skill,organizational skill,changing skill,enhanced feedback skill,ending skill,language skill are practiced and studied.This research mainly includes three parts: literature research,survey research,and practical research: The literature research part uses the literature research method to define the concepts related to the professional development of new teachers' teaching skills,and sorts out the relevant theories that support this research;The survey research part uses the questionnaire survey method to investigate the development of new middle school biology teachers' teaching skills from 0 to 3 working years and senior interns of biological science majors.The questionnaire was recovered and SPSS20.0 and Excel are used for data analysis;Practice in the research part uses the text analysing method to compile the class observation scale of new middle school biology teachers' teaching skills,and the observation scale is used to observe and evaluate the new middle school biology teachers' teaching skills.The following conclusions are drawn through research:(1)Regarding the development of new teachers' teaching skills,from overall view,with the increase of teaching age,new middle school biology teachers' teaching skills are more and more in line with the application principles and requirements of teaching skills,but there are still some deficiencies.For example,those that meet the professional development of teachers' teaching skills include: the higher the age of new middle school biology teachers,the more reasonable the layout of the blackboard wrting,the more diverse the skills,the more ways to strengthen,the more ways to get feedback,etc;the deficiencies are: The new middle school biology teachers have insufficient emphasis on learning tasks when they are introduced,the ending form is single,there are more lowlevel cognitive and aggregated questions,and the waiting time is shorter,etc.(2)In terms of tools for observing and evaluating new teachers' teaching skills,this study constructs a class observation scale for teaching skills of new teachers in middle school biology,which includes 1 dimension,5 perspectives,and 47 observation points.(3)In terms of suggestions for the development of teaching skills for new teachers,based on lifelong education ideas,teaching reflection and behaviorist learning theory,this study makes recommendations for the development of teaching skills for new middle school biology teachers from pre-service and post-service,and complets the demonstration teaching case design of teachers' teaching skills.This study provides a certain theoretical basis and practical development assistance for the professional development of new middle school biology teachers,and provides reference for practical cases for the colleges and universities trained by normal students.
