| Novels are extremely important to the formation of the worldviews,philosophies and values of junior high school students,and also their mental growth.Therefore,the first chapter discusses the related concepts and significance of junior high school novel reading teaching.Fictions in junior high school Chinese textbooks which are prepared by the Ministry of Education account for a large proportion.In the unit section,novels account for about 13% of the total teaching content.Especially in the ninth grade,it reaches to 25%.In the famous books reading section,there are more than 58% of novels works.Therefore,the importance of novels reading teaching is very obvious.However,in the actual teaching process,there is a phenomenon that junior high school students are full of interests in reading,but generally indifferent to learning novel reading.In fact,there is a situation that the efficiency of novel reading teaching in junior high school is not high.In this regard,this article attempts to start from the characteristics of the fictions,and aim at cultivating novel reading abilities of the junior high school students,and explore a kind of teaching method that can change the current situation to improves efficiency.The second chapter discusses the investigation and analysis of the status of junior high school novel reading teaching.By sorting out relevant literature,investigating research,and observing practices,this writer found and summarized the problem in junior high school novel reading teaching that is "formulation".This problem led to students’ lacking of interests in learning,and inefficient fiction reading teaching.In this regard,the thesis attempts to guide students to establish an autonomous circulation form in novel reading teaching,and that is "reading-experiencing-interacting-rereading".Teachers play a leading role in guiding.Autonomous circulation form starts from students’ reading interests,with the help of training students’ novel reading abilities and cultivating their reading habits,and finally can get the goal of expanding students’ personalized reading experience,enhancing students’ novel reading ability,and improving students’ core Chinese qualities.The third chapter discusses the strategies for improving junior high school novel reading teaching.In novel teaching,teachers should aim at enhancing students’ reading ability,guide students to change from passive to active;expand students’ lifeexperience with fictions‘ characteristics,and let students form problem consciousness in autonomous learning;train students’ thinking ability with the help of discussion and improve teaching quality with diversified teaching methods;adopt encouraging teaching to maintain students’ curiosities,and make students learn to use reading methods to improve their reading comprehension;expand after-school reading by using video resources reasonably;make full use of the "education" function that the novel reading teaching assists students’ overall development,and ultimately achieve the grand goal of life-long reading and life-long learning. |
