The Curriculum Standards of Compulsory Education(2011 edition)presents the teaching aims requiring students to make reading plans and read varied books of at least 2.6 million words extensively.Besides,students are supposed to read two or three masterpieces per academic year.The Curriculum Standards also brings forward the teaching implementation advice that when teaching,teachers should try to cultivate students' extensive reading interest,expand their reading area,increase the reading volu me and improve their reading taste.It is also recommended to do less questions,read more good books and read the whole book.Reading classics is conducive to enriching students' language accumulation and cultivating their sense of language;it is beneficial to cultivating students' abilities in various aspects and obtaining thinking methods and qualities;it contributes to improving students' aesthetic and quality;it makes for cultural inheritance,as well.absorption and promotion of excellent culture.In 2016,with the comprehensive promotion and wide use of new textbooks,the teaching of "introduction to Famous Books"has been further strengthened on the basis of the former Editions of Jiangsu education,People's Education and Lu Education,etc.,and the status of "introduction to Famous books" has been greatly improved.However,in reality,the current situation of"introduction to classics" teaching is not so satisfactory.Though some of the front-line teachers are well aware of the importance of classics teaching,they are unable to guide students to do reading;some others still don't attach importance to the teaching of reading guidance for famous works,and deal with the problem hastily and their evaluation methods of classic reading are much too single;some teachers should not read books themselves,how can they guide students to read?Students are not interested in classics;reading is disordered;reading has obvious utilitarian color;lack of scientific and effective reading meth od guidance.Students are not interested in the classics;Reading disorder;is obviously utilitarian;Lack scientific and effective reading method guidance.Some parents even think that reading classic books is a waste of time.They can't offer a wonderful environment to children to read quietly and carefully,such as a "natural environment",a "humanistic environment" and a "psychological environment".Moreover,there isn't enough reading atmosphere in school either.To solve the above problems in the teaching of "introduction to famous books",the paper covers four aspects:Teachers ought to arouse students' reading interest and develop a positive reading attitude;In addition,it is also very important to help students form good reading habits and raise efficiency;what's more,teachers should also enhance students'abilities to combine reading and writing;By means of content reconstruction strategy,repeated linking strategy and comparative reading strategy,m ultiple evaluation is carried out throughout the reading process.The students' strategy is to make full use of meta-cognitive strategy to conduct self-monitoring,before,during and after reading activities.Parents' strategies include building a communication platform for masterpieces reading;Co-reading and companion reading help reading up grade;communication and interaction collide with wisdom sparks.The school's strate gies cover improving the hardware facilities so that students can read books;bringing reading into the academic evaluation system and making full use of the incentive mechanism to stimulate students' interest in reading;regulating Chinese "Book Festival"activities and offering reading appreciation classes or club activities related to reading classics.The strategies of teaching and research department are to regularly conduct "extensive reading" and "extensive teaching and research"activities and make good use of the senior high school entrance examination to accelerate the guided reading teaching.
