“Introduction to Masterpieces” is the main course content to implement the reading of the whole book.The textbooks of unified-compiled edition have built a complete system of introduction to famous books.How can teachers improve the teaching efficiency of "Introduction to Masterpieces" and how can students achieve the ideal reading effect have become an important issue.Through the investigation of the teaching status quo of "Introduction to Masterpieces" of unified edition about junior-high-school Chinese,the result is not ideal as teachers seldom bring the "Introduction to Masterpieces" into the teaching level.Influenced by exam-oriented education,most students show little interest in reading classics,which lead to many problems,students poor reading quality and narrow reading range in particular.As a result,the teaching value of "Introduction to Masterpieces" can not be manifested nor the reading target of The New Curriculum Standard be achieved.As such,it is particularly necessary to improve the teaching status of "Introduction to Masterpieces".The introduction part explains the origin,purpose and significance of the research,reviewing the literature respectively from the teaching value and significance and the teaching practice research of "Introduction to Masterpieces" and expounding the research method used in this paper.The first chapter is the content arrangement and teaching value of "Introduction to Masterpieces",analyzing the features in arranging and selecting articles and expounding the teaching value of "Introduction to Masterpieces" in combination with the reading teaching objectives proposed in The fourth section of Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 edition).The second chapter employs the method of questionnaire survey and interview to investigate the teaching status of "Introduction to Masterpieces",grasp the current difficulties in teaching it and analyze the main factors affecting the teaching effect of the textbook.The third chapter focuses on the improvement of the teaching strategies of in "Introduction to Masterpieces" about Chinese for junior high school students Chinese.The chapter will formulate reasonable teaching objectives,choose appropriate teaching content and methods.Implement teaching evaluation system of "Introduction to Masterpieces" in view of the practical teaching problems existing in the process of teaching.Besides,it makes a detailed exploration of teaching strategy about how to make teaching objectives,improve reading content,guide reading methods and carry out reading practice and so on.The fourth chapter is about teaching practice.Taking the introduction of Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk as an example,this chapter puts teaching design into practice to test its applicability in the classroom,striving to design an effective teaching model of "Introduction to Masterpieces" as a way to provide teaching reference for teachers.
