With the arrival of the era of social knowledge,economic development and Internet information,more and more attention have been paid to the all-round development of human beings.In the new era,we should fully implement the art curriculum standards,pay attention to the cultivation of students' art discipline quality and ability,and advocate a new teaching mode of autonomy,cooperation and exploration with students as the main part and teachers as the leading role.The teaching idea of participatory teaching method coincides with the requirements of teaching reform.However,there are many problems in the actual teaching process.Therefore,it is necessary to constantly explore teaching methods in line with students' own learning characteristics and social development,so as to cultivate students' comprehensive ability and core literacy of art discipline.The participatory teaching method must be carried out in the teaching of art appreciation in senior high school,with its important role played in classroom teaching,so that it can be developed and improved in teaching practice.This paper takes the teachers and students of senior two in Zijin County No.2 Middle School of Heyuan City as the research object.The questionnaire survey,comparative research and other research methods are carried out to make sure the current situation of the application of participatory teaching method in art appreciation teaching,and analyzes the existing problems and reasons.Based on the problems,the corresponding teaching strategies are put forward and applied to teaching practice,and the application results are reflected and summarized.Therefore,it is feasible to apply the participatory teaching method in art appreciation in senior high school.The results show that the participatory teaching method can effectively improve students' enthusiasm for art appreciation in senior high school,improve students' aesthetic judgment,and be conducive to the cultivation of comprehensive ability and core quality of art discipline.This paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which explains the background and significance of participatory teaching method,the content and method of the research,and the definition of related concepts.The second chapter analyzes the application of participatory teaching in art appreciation in senior high school.It also shows the necessity and problems through the investigation of students and teachers.The third chapter is mainly about the strategy of participatory teaching and its understanding.It gives explanationon how to effectively use participatory teaching method,how to combine the teaching concept and the art appreciation in senior high school to implement the management and evaluation of participatory teaching method.The fourth chapter focuses on the practice and reflection of participatory teaching method in art appreciation in senior high school.It also tells how to choose the appropriate learning theme,create the situation of the topic,and effectively carry out learning activities and scientific evaluation of teaching activities,which can be more conducive to the cultivation of students' discipline quality,and reflect on the teaching practice.Chapter five is the conclusion,through the teaching practice,it is known that the application of participatory teaching method in art appreciation in senior high school has achieved relatively obvious results,and students' learning enthusiasm and discipline quality have been significantly improved.
