With the "Belt and Road" initiative,Confucius Institute flourished," Chinese fever" swept the world,especially Thailand,South Korea to be mentioned in this article.Chinese education in Thailand and Korea is developing in full swing.The number of Chinese learning in the two countries is increasing year by year,and the Chinese teacher volunteers sent by the Chinese and foreign language exchange and cooperation center to the two countries are also increasing year by year,and the Chinese teaching situation in the two countries has extensive international attention.Based on the teaching experience in Kyeongju High School and Thai Kanthararom School schools in Thailand,the author takes Chinese teaching in middle schools of the two countries as an example to analyze the commonness,differences,characteristics and shortcomings of Chinese teaching.This paper aims to promote the development of Chinese teaching in Korea and Thailand through the comparison of Chinese teaching in two typical and representative high schools,and to promote the exchange and cooperation of Chinese teaching as a foreign language in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia.This article is divided into four parts: First,briefly describe the policies and conditions for the development of Chinese teaching in Korea and Thailand.Then,taking Gyeongju High School in South Korea and Kanthararom School in Thailand as the research objects,a comprehensive comparison of the high school Chinese teaching situation of the two schools in detail,such as the history of Chinese teaching,auxiliary resources and "teaching,teaching materials,teaching methods",etc.On this basis,the characteristics and problems of Chinese teaching in the two schools are compared,and the reasons for the above differences are analyzed from the perspectives of economic foundation and cultural foundation.Finally,it draws relevant suggestions for promoting the development of Chinese teaching in high schools in Thailand and South Korea,in order to help Chinese education in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia.
