With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,all disciplines emphasize the combination of theory and practice in teaching,and homework occupies an important position,so homework design should also be combined with this idea.Students should not only master knowledge,but also learn how to use it.Practical homework,as the supplement and optimization of traditional homework,can not only deepen students' understanding of knowledge,but also expand students' thinking and improve their practical operation ability and problem-solving ability;It is also a process of combining teaching idea with homework that teachers design practical homework and develop their initiative and exploration.Senior primary school students are facing the transition stage from primary school to junior high school,their body and psychology will have different changes,how to make the design of practical homework in line with the development needs of this age group of students is worth exploring.This paper randomly selects three primary schools in Y City as the research objectives,and takes the fifth and sixth grade students as the main objects of the study.First,the teachers and students in this stage are investigated by questionnaires,and then some teachers are interviewed.By combing the data of the questionnaire,we find that there are some good trends in the design of practical work in senior primary school,such as teachers pay attention to cooperative design,which can connect with the actual life of students,but there are also some problems: for example,the reference standard of practical work design is single;The content of practical work design is lack of comprehensiveness;The difficulty of practical homework design is lack of hierarchy;The type of practical work design is single;Students do not have enough time to complete practical homework;The practical homework materials that students can use are insufficient;The enthusiasm of students to participate in the design of practical homework is not high.Combined with the results of the two survey methods,the author analyzes the causes of the existing problems,mainly including: the lack of teachers' design concept;Teachers are lack of double subject design consciousness in homework design;Teachers spend a lot of time on mechanical memory in homework design;Teachers lack the consciousness of unit integration in homework design.Finally,this paper puts forward five measures to improve the design of Chinese practical homework: the school should strengthen the guidance of teachers' design concept;Reconstruct the primary school Chinese subject unit,improve the homework design system;The double subjects of homework design are defined to realize the cooperative design between teachers and students;Create a hierarchical question bank for homework;Design diversified types of homework to increase students' selectivity.The author hopes that through this paper writing,not only can lay a good foundation for their future teaching career,but also can give some inspiration to the first-line primary school senior Chinese teachers.
