In the new era,the CPC Central Committee attaches great importance to ideological and political theory courses.General Secretary Xi Jinping stresses that "the key to running ideological and political courses well lies in teachers",and puts forward the requirements for ideological and political teachers to "be strong in politics,deep in feelings,new in thinking,broad in vision,strict in self-discipline,and correct in personality".The ideological and political courses shoulder the responsibility of cultivating high-quality talents,and high school ideological and political teachers should cultivate their own professional qualities according to the requirements of the Party and the country for the ideological and political theory courses,and undertake the task of cultivating people by virtue and cultivating new people of The Times.However,in reality,some high school ideological and political teachers are not clear enough about what kind of professional qualities they should have in the new era and how to cultivate and enhance their professional qualities to deal with various challenges in education and teaching,thus affecting the realization of educational goals.Therefore,how to improve the professional quality of high school ideological and political teachers to adapt to the requirements of the new era has become an urgent problem to improve the efficiency of ideological and political teaching.By consulting a large number of documents,combined with the requirements of the CPC Central Committee for ideological and political theory courses and teachers of ideological and political theory courses in the new era,this paper discusses the professional qualities that teachers of ideological and political courses in high schools should possess in the new era,namely,political qualities,theoretical knowledge qualities,moral personality qualities and educational ability qualities.At the same time,it discusses why we should cultivate teachers' professional quality of ideological and political courses in senior high schools,and what significance it brings to cultivate teachers' professional quality.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey results with good reliability and validity and aiming at the current situation of teachers' professional quality of ideological and political courses in senior high schools in the new era,and the interview results with in-service teachers of ideological and political courses in senior high schools,the empirical research situation is summarized and analyzed.This paper summarizes the problems existing in the professional quality of senior high school ideological and political teachers in the survey results,including: some teachers lack initiative in improving their political quality;The development of some teachers' theoretical knowledge lacks the times;The cultivation of some teachers' personality charm lacks appeal;Some teachers' classroom teaching methods are lack of innovation.In the actual teaching process,the teachers' professional qualities of ideological and political courses in senior high schools affect the development of teachers' education and teaching,so we should dig deep into the reasons that affect the cultivation of teachers' professional qualities of ideological and political courses in senior high schools.In-depth analysis of survey results.
