Ancient poems of rationally aesthetic states are of great value in the teaching of ancient poetry,for the reason contained in the aesthetic states can awaken the wisdom,enrich the beauty of the contexts and enlighten the meaning of life.However,the principles in the rationally aesthetic states have not received enough attention from teachers and students in actual teaching.This thesis sorts out more than 200 ancient poems included in the Ministry of Education's primary,junior and senior high school textbooks and the new curriculum standards,defines the poetry of rationally aesthetic states,and categorizes the principles in the rationally aesthetic states,including the laws of nature,the principles of the inter-personality and the insights of philosophy.Based on the above,the thesis makes a questionnaire survey on the students of M high school in the form of test paper.The result shows that the subjects lack a deep and accurate understanding of the three kinds of principles in poetry mentioned above in the rationally aesthetic states and there are significant differences in the three dimensions:higher or lower grade,physics or history classe,innovative,key or ordinary class,in which the former scores higher than the latter.Conducting a causal analysis of students' superficial understanding of poetry from both student and instructional perspectives,we found that students'rational thinking is so weak,including the lack of rationality from emotions,weak abstraction in grasping the relationship between things and discriminating,and failure to understand the deep meaning of poems through the integration of literature-history-philosophy;moreover,the teaching has not effectively promoted the development of students' rational thinking.Accordingly,this thesis proposes that the teaching of the principles in poetry should be based on the promotion of rational thinking,and to teach students in accordance with their aptitudes.First,in the teachling of the principles in poetry,for promoting the development of rational thinking,teachers need to dig deeper into the rationality in poetry in the rationally aesthetic states,as well as deepen the understanding of it through the integration of literature-history-philosophy.Second,when teaching students in accordance with their aptitudes according to their thinking differences,on one hand,for students from different selected subjects,we should strengthen the targeted training on different principles in poetry.On the other hand,for different learning levels,reasonable teaching objectives should be set according to students' learning conditions.In short,teachers need to promote the development of students' thinking,not neglecting both the emotional cultivation and the principles in poetry of the rationally aesthetic states:the laws of nature encourages people to seek truth,the principles of inter-personality makes people considerate thoroughly and the insights of philosophy leads people to a wise life.
