Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core,our country's education has developed vigorously in an all-round way.The newly revised Ordinary Senior High School Ideological and Political Course Standards in 2020 requires strengthening the guidance of Marxist theory and cultivating students' political identity.At the same time,it pays more attention to students' emotional needs and the cultivation of comprehensive quality,which puts forward new requirements for the teaching of high school ideological and political courses.Emotional and rational teaching focuses on the combination of emotional and rational factors.It not only helps students lay a solid theoretical foundation and cultivate rational thinking,but also stimulates students' positive emotions and teaches students the correct world outlook,outlook on life,and values,which is in line with the new curriculum reform requirements.This article takes high school students as the research object,uses questionnaire surveys,interviews and other methods to investigate the current situation of high school ideological and political teaching.It analyzes the problems in the implementation of the teaching of emotion and reason based on the actual situation,and specifically explores the ways to improve its teaching efficiency.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part clarifies the meaning of teaching blending emotion and reason and the relationship between emotion and reason.And on this basis,it clarifies the necessity of blending of emotion and reason teaching in high school ideological and political classes from multiple angles.This is the theoretical basis of this research.The second part explains the investigation method of this research,and analyzes the main results and main problems of teaching with the combination of emotion and reason in high school ideological and political lessons.This provides data support for this study.The third part summarizes the reasons for the problems in the teaching of ideological and political classes,including the teachers' factors,students' factors and environment factors.This is to find a solution to the problem for this research.The fourth part explores the countermeasures to improve the teaching effect of the combination of emotion and reason from the two elements of teachers and students,classroom and extracurricular venues,in order to improve the effect of the teaching of the combination of emotion and reason in high school ideological and political classes.This is the ultimate goal of this research.
