Punctuation marks are an organic part in high school Chinese teaching and an important way to carry out text teaching and interpret texts in depth.The correct use of punctuation marks help us to clearly understand the context,emphasis or tone of the language.Furthermore,it also allows us to clearly understand the illocutionary meaning in the passage.For reading,the correct use of punctuation will affect the tone and emotional expression of reading,thereby affecting the understanding of the content of the text.If the Chinese teachers do not pay enough attention to the students' understanding of punctuation,it will make a great negative impact on education.And the usage method,it will appear that the reading does not stop according to the punctuation or the improper pause,the tone and emotion can not be reflected.The reading problems will be more serious.Therefore,in Chinese teaching,strengthening the teaching of punctuation marks and improving students' ability to use punctuation marks are issues that Chinese teachers must pay attention to.However,under the current educational background,middle school students are still unable to grasp the correct usage of punctuation marks more accurately.This is an education received from elementary school.After high school of the compulsory education stage,the correct use of punctuation marks by students is not optimistic.It still becomes one of the important factors affecting students' Chinese literacy,which has to cause us to think deeply about punctuation teaching.This article combines the specific situation of the high school where the author teaches,analyzes the students' mastery of punctuation marks,the current teaching situation of teachers,and analyzes specific problems in detail,discusses the punctuation teaching methods suitable for the students of the school,and improves the students'language and humanities literacy knowledge level.
