Senior High School Ideological And Political Courses To Cultivate Students Awareness Of The Rule Of Law

The 19th National Congress of the CPC stated that comprehensively governing the country by law is the essential requirement and important guarantee for Chinese socialism.The important goal of Building a country under the rule of law is to promote the awareness of it in the whole society and enable every citizen to respect,study,abide by and use the law.In 2017,the consciousness of the rule of law was included in the ideological and political curriculum standards of ordinary senior high schools,which is enough to show the importance of it.High school is a key period to cultivate students' awareness of rule of law.The cultivation of high school students' awareness of rule of law is not only connected to their personal development,but also helpful for the construction of the rule of law.The course of ideological and political is a major in the development of high school students' awareness of the rule of law,whose importance is clear.So it is important for teachers to cultivate high school students' awareness of the rule of law.Therefore,the research of this thesis is significant in theory and practice.This paper takes "the high school thought politics lesson trains the student to rule by law consciousness" as the theme,has carried on the corresponding elaboration and the discussion to some involved theory and the practice topic.This paper makes a distinction between the concept of the rule of law and the concept of the consciousness of the rule of law as well as regards the consciousness of the rule of law as the core of political discipline.The consciousness of the rule of law is people's understanding and attitude towards it,and to establish it is also a quality that a citizen must have,which requires Chinese citizens to "respect,abide by and use the law" in practice.The consciousness of rule of law in the core of political science is mainly the cultivation of the consciousness of rule of law in senior high school students.It includes "establishing the supreme concept of constitution and law","establishing equality before the law","clarifying the relationship between rights and obligations",etc.For Chinese high school students,it is also essential to cultivate them.It can make difference in promoting students' physical and mental health,the overall development of their comprehensive quality,the construction of a harmonious campus environment and the promotion of the process of the rule of law in China.Our country has made great achievements in the rule of law construction in recent years,but there will also be some problems.Based on the investigation and research of some high school students,the author analyzes various problems about the ideological and political courses of high school students in cultivating their awareness in the rule of law.The investigation shows that some political teachers' professional quality needs improving,and their teaching methods are relatively simple.Some high school students lack the knowledge of the rule of law and the ability to practice and apply it.Generally speaking,the awareness of the rule of law is relatively weak.However,some high schools in China have not established an effective and scientific evaluation system for Chinese high school students.Around the above problems,the paper also put forward the corresponding countermeasures.It is mainly through optimizing the teaching methods of political teachers in classroom teaching to improve the legal literacy of political teachers.To strengthen the high school students' study of the rule of law knowledge related to the teaching materials and strengthen their rule of law practice and application;As a high school,it should also construct the evaluation system which can reflect the high and low level of high school students' legal consciousness more scientifically and reasonably.
