In recent years, the incidence of nephrotic syndrome has continued to increase, the rate of disease deterioration has further accelerated, and the disease is showing a trend of younger development.Nephrotic syndrome has a long course, requires regular review and has many complications.Compared with other diseases,it requires high-quality care and has a greater impact on its family members. It has to bear high treatment costs. At the same time,it has to bear greater pressure.Based on the author's two-month intermittent internship experience in the Medical Social Work Office of H Hospital. The family members of patients in the nephrology department are selected as the research objects.Questionnaires,semi-structured interviews and participatory observations are used as data collection methods to understand nephrotic syndrome.Analyze the needs of the patient's family members. The results show that the family members of patients generally have greater psychological, physical, social and economic pressures. In order to reduce the pressure of family members and promote the recovery and cure of patients, the author takes rational emotional therapy theory and social support theory as the theoretical support, and carries out professional group activities to achieve the established goals based on the needs of patients' family members. In the group work, six group activities were carried out to relieve the pressure of the patients' families. The content mainly revolved around knowledge dissemination, valuing one's own health, emotional catharsis, artistic relaxation, cognition and recognition of rational beliefs, and broadening of the pressure support network. Finally, with the efforts of medical social workers,to a certain extent,it relieves the pressure of the family members of patients with nephrotic syndrome, improves their negative state, and improves their ability to take care of themselves and take care of patients. At the end of this article, four suggestions are put forward, which hope to promote doctor-patient communication, improve medical experience, relieve family pressure, and improve the cure rate or recovery degree of patients. At the same time,it provides some experience and reference for the future development of medical social work in this field.
