General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the National Education Conference that since the 18th CPC National Congress,we have strengthened the party 's leadership in education in an all-round way,insisted on building people up,and strengthen ideological and political work in schools revolving around the fundamental question of whom we train,how we train,and for whom.With the rapid development of information technology and communication technology,the self-media is loved by college students for its unique advantages and has become their main source of information.At the same time,the popularization of media subjects,the interactivity of communication methods,and the diversification of communication content have greatly influenced the ideology,values,and behavior standards of college students,and also changed the traditional discourse power pattern.On the other hand,the network field has also become a place for various wrong ideas and speeches because of its high degree of freedom and concealment.The lack of sound regulatory measures for network operation management has made bottomless pursuit of benefits from some self-media,spreading negative values,impacting the value judgments and value choices of college students,distorting the values of some college students,and lacking a sense of social responsibility,which has increased the difficulty of ideological and political work in colleges and universities.The authority to speak determines the spreading effect of ideological and political education in colleges and universities and affects the effectiveness of ideological and political education activities.Therefore,study of the authority of ideological and political education in colleges and universities under the environment of self-media has been an urgent and important topic of the times.The first part introduces the research status of the authority of ideological and political education in universities under the self-media environment from both domestic and international,and clarifies the research purpose,research content and research methods of this article.The second part,starting from the definitions of self-media,the right to speak and the authority of college ideological and political education by consulting the literature,the basic characteristics of self-media are clarified.Meanwhile,the related theories of the authority of ideological and political education are expounded,and also,the theoretical basis and basic viewpoints of this research are established.The third part is based on a questionnaire survey,combined with interviews,and analyzes the current situation of the authority of ideological and political education in the self-media environment.It summarizes the use of self-media by college students and analyzes the approval status of ideological and political education in the self-media environment.In the fourth part,based on the analysis of the survey results,this article finds the problems in the authority of ideological and political education in universities under the self-media environment which is the weakening of the discourse of the main body of ideological and political education in universities,the lack of standardization of the object discourse of ideological and political education in universities,and the environmental imbalances of the discourse of ideological and political education in universities.The main reasons for the analysis are the weakening tendency of the subject's discourse effectiveness in ideological and political education,the resistance tendency of the object's acceptability for the authority of ideological and political education in universities,and the lagging tendency of the discourse environment construction of ideological and political education in universities.In the fifth part,this article proposes countermeasures to improve the authority of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in three aspects including improving the discourse attractiveness of the main body of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the self-media environment,and enhancing the acceptance of discourse object of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the context of self-media,improving the discourse influence of the ideological and political education environment of colleges and universities in the self-media environment.
