Sun Li has been widely acknowledged as a pathfinder of “Lotus-covered Lake School” in the history of contemporary literature.His novels revolving around the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression enjoy a high reputation in literary circles with its refreshing,tender and plain writing style.Since the founding of the New China,multiple anti-aggression war novels by Sun Li have been included in textbooks of middle school Chinese.For educators,it is an important task to excavate the effective teaching value of selected articles.Therefore,it is of vital importance to explore the special charm and teaching value of Sun Li's novels about war of resistance against Japanese aggression.In these novels,Sun Li skillfully integrated the political and artistic characteristics of literature.Without focusing on depicting the class conflicts and social politics,Sun switched his attention to the daily writing against the political and war background,and focused on depicting the beauty of life and tenderness of the human nature beyond the political conflict.This enables Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression to not only remain in the mainstream discourse standards,but also become an“evergreen” in the Chinese textbook for middle school students.This paper consists of four sections:The first part discusses the ideological content and striking artistic characteristics of Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression in three aspects,including selection of “daily” content,“poetic” language,which is clear and meaningful,and Sun Li's unique aesthetic pursuit,to reveal the unique charm of Sun Li's novels.The second part examines the narrative strategies of Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression in three aspects,including modernity and inclusiveness of the narrative perspective,natural permeation of the inverse sequence,and narrator with free expression of his feeling.Through analysis of the unique art of narrative of Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression,this paper can provide a new perspective for the textual interpretation and reading teaching of this novel.The third part analyzes the causes behind the formation of the unique style of Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression from the perspective of the era and the author.By learning the writing background of the novel,and the writer's life experience,creation motivation,and art inheritance,this paper deepens the understanding of the writer and the writer's works.The fourth part investigates the teaching value of Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression under the background of developing Chinese core qualities.First of all,the inclusion of Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression into the textbook of middle school Chinese is summarized.Second,according to the unique charm of Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression,and combining the Chinese curriculum standards,this paper points out the instructional value of Sun's novels of the kind in four aspects,including language,thinking,aesthetics and culture.Finally,two novels,including Lotus-covered Lake and Mountain Memories,are taken for example,and the teaching design based on the instructional value of Sun Li's novels about resistance against Japanese aggression is written to provide reference for first-line teachers of Sun Li's novels against resistance against Japanese aggression.
