Teachers are professionals engaged in education and teaching,while primary school teachers are a special group.Under the background of knowledge transformation and education reform,knowledge management of primary school teachers has become an important topic.The transformation of knowledge in current era shows three trends: from primitive knowledge to ancient knowledge,then to modern knowledge and to post-modern knowledge.The so-called knowledge management refers to the effective management of the wisdom and knowledge of an organization or an individual through a series of technical means and rules to realize knowledge growth and ultimately the improvement of the comprehensive ability of an organization or an individual.The knowledge management of primary school teachers has three characteristics as following.First,explicit knowledge is easy to collect and classify management,and part of the content has high value of reuse;second,the main object of management is tacit knowledge;third,the focus of management is the explicit of tacit knowledge.The knowledge management of primary school teachers has a basic framework which includes the acquisition and absorption of knowledge,the arrangement and preservation of knowledge,the exchange and sharing of knowledge,the application and innovation of knowledge,etc.In order to improve the level of knowledge management of primary school teachers and to promote the professional development of primary school teachers,both teachers and school organizations need to work together.A primary school teacher should strengthen their professional awareness,learn to reflect and move towards lifelong learning.Principals of school organizations should have strong leadership,strengthen school-based training,establish an effective incentive mechanism and carry out professional learning.To verify the strategy of knowledge management of primary school teachers,some teachers from Peiyuan primary school in Changning City of Hunan Province has been selected to a typical case analysis.Research materials have been obtained through interviews,interview records have been carried out with three-level coding and analysis based on the research method of grounded theory,and the variables at all levels and their interrelations of knowledge management of primary school teachers have been initially found.The knowledge management of primary school teachers has a direct or indirect relationship with their work performance and professional development,which is an open research field and deserves greater attention.
