Mathematics is the crown of natural science and the main tool for other scientific research. With the development of computers, mathematics has undergone revolutionary changes in the role of social life.Mathematics has penetrated into all walks of life.Contemporary high school students should have certain mathematical literacy. It is very important to learn high school mathematics. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the causes and transformation strategies of students with learning difficulties in mathematics(hereinafter referred to as the number of students). In the face of a large number of poor students, the author first studied the relevant research methods at home and abroad, and learned the research methods to understand the main causes of the difficulties, the corresponding transformation measures and the transformation results. In addition, the author selects the case study method based on the actual conditions, and conducts transformation experiments on the selected number of students,in order to explore the transformation of the number of students through case studies.First of all, through interviews with parents, mathematics teachers and students themselves, the basic situation of mathematics learning is selected, including the lack of learning interest, lack of learning motivation, poor learning habits, improper learning methods, and Lack of mathematical thinking and ability. In view of the above analysis results, this paper proposes corresponding transformation strategies, including stimulating learning motivation, improving learning interest;improving students' learning habits, mastering correct learning methods;training mathematical thinking and improving mathematics ability.Through a series of transformation processes, the research subjects have positive changes in mathematics learning emotions, mainly showing that the subjects have ignited interest in mathematics learning, mastered some necessary mathematical methods and steadily improved their mathematics learning scores.Through the implementation of this transformation process, the author concludes that the number of students who are trapped is not born.As long as they can grasp the real reasons for their formation and adopt corresponding transformation strategies, the number of students can be transformed.
