For a long time,the issue of left-behind children has been a major social issue that has attracted widespread attention from whole society.According to statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics,there are still 6.97 million left-behind children in China.There are studies have shown that,because left-behind children generally lack the nourishment of family affection,a small number of children have inferiority complex,seclusion,distrust and uncertainty.They have strong learning weariness,rebellious psychology,hatred psychology,bad sexual psychology and distorted values.Insufficient empathy is one of the major reasons for the above-mentioned problems of left-behind children,and low empathy may affect the individual's mental health,subjective well-being,moral value orientation,and interpersonal communication.In the current research,there are researches on improving the empathy ability of left-behind children in various disciplines,but the amount of research in the social work field is still relatively limited.Therefore,the current situation needs the intervention of social work to enhance the left-behind children's empathy ability.Cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT)is a kind of treatment mode that corrects the client from the ideological root by changing the client's wrong cognition,helping him to establish a correct rational cognition,and then changing the client's wrong behavior.This mode is widely used in various social work services,and its effect on the change of the client is remarkable.Studies have shown that the partial wrong cognition of left-behind children is one of the main reasons for the problems of left-behind children.The cognitive behavioral therapy can effectively solve the problems of left-behind children.Therefore,cognitive behavioral therapy model can effectively solve the problems of left behind children.However,it is worth exploring that at present,the number of researches on improving left behind children's empathy ability through cognitive behavioral therapy model is very limited.Therefore,through the intervention of case work and case analysis,this study verifies the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy model on the improvement of left behind children's empathy ability,helps the service object to solve the current difficulties,helps the service object to grow up healthily,and improves the relationship between them and their families,parents,actual guardians and peer groups.In the study,we compared and summarized the measurement before and after the intervention and continuous investigation after the service,and put forward suggestions for further research.There are six parts in the article:The first part puts forward the background and problems of this research.This study mainly from the current situation and problems of left behind children,the role of empathy and the help of left behind children group,cognitive behavioral therapy model for left behind children group empathy ability to enhance the role of and so on.The second part of the literature review,defines the relevant concepts,sorts out the current academic research status of left behind children's empathy ability and how to improve their empathy ability,the research status of the application of cognitive behavioral therapy model,discusses the current research status of social work intervention in left behind children,and finally summarizes the enlightenment and shortcomings of the current research.The third part is the research significance,whicn expounds the theoretical and practical significance of this research.The fourth part is research design,which mainly introduces the thinkings of the research,research tools and research methods of this research,etc.The fifth part is the case work intervention of cognitive behavioral therapy model in the improvement of left behind children's empathy ability,which uses the professional method of social work to intervene.Through the early field visit and research,we can understand the basic information of the service object,and through the score of the basic empathy scale before and after the pre-test,the information collected from the field visit and the evaluation of the case owner,the corresponding case service plan and goal should be formulated,and the case intervention should be carried out according to the four stages of identifying wrong cognition,establishing rational cognition,behavior training,strengthening and consolidating empathy ability.The sixth part is the evaluation and reflection,discussion and Prospect of this study.According to the combination of case service effectiveness evaluation and follow-up investigation,it summarizes the effect and applicability of cognitive behavioral therapy model in improving the empathy ability of left behind children,and it is believed that cognitive behavioral therapy can effectively achieve the flexible use of empathy ability of left behind children from the cause of the problem.At the same time,it discusses the reasons of some failure cases in this case through the ecosystem theory,and finally puts forward the shortcomings of this study and suggestions for further research.
